Come back, king, we need you are you seriously saying tommy brown and his stale, subpar creations are somehow even close to the insane perfection that Oscar Gorres has created time and time again pls dont use Addison Rae as a drag when Got It Bad is far better than ANYTHING on positions... 3 2

I'm not saying eye know more but the person who spoke to me works for a major publication so I feel like they wouldn't lie. They also tipped me off to the Positions release before she started teasing that in 2020 1

This is insulting and almost edge-lordy trolling, especially when Positions has literally a myriad of producers on the record. Their work tied together under the guidance of Tommy *and* Ariana. If someone doesn't like songs like these (all produced by different people), they simply don't like Ariana Grande: Edited January 27 by Communion 2 4
4Walls Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Ive been an Ariana stan since The Way and Positions is literally her worst album it’s so boring and dull/lifeless. Good ideas/concept but bad execution. Something tells me she thinks it was a misstep too This album will be way more interesting/memorable musically. She’s at her best when she puts experimentation more in the forefront. 9 3 1

You think Ariana would agree with you that her most involved album is her worst when she can't even stomach to perform most of the singles off of albums like My Everything anymore cause she hates them that much? When she was calling songs like "Touch It" boring just six months later backstage on the tour? And actively sabotaging "Breathin" being released as a single because she thought R.E.M would get to be a single instead? Edited January 27 by Communion 2
State of Grace. Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Love the new cover OzGo's repertoire has some cute bops too so I'm perched. Still very confused about where this is heading sonically, especially after Scandal's tea allegedly not being correct. But I have a feeling it's gonna serve Sweetener.
youresotoxic Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Positions is an amazing album and i'm tired of some of you guys saying otherwise... like there's Off The Table, Positions, Safety Net, My Hair, Pov... just hit after hit but all some of you care about are basic pop songs 9 1 1
youresotoxic Posted January 27 Posted January 27 but anyways, i'm extremely excited for ES. I know she's gonna serve us an amazing album hope there is a song like OTT and a cute ballad!
OrgVisual Posted January 28 Posted January 28 People hated Positions because its full of midtempo RnB Now she gives us a gay dance bop and they hate it too. She can never please u guys 1
wildsidenormani Posted January 28 Posted January 28 (edited) What we need is a haute couture avante-garde experimental Sweetener type serve Edited January 28 by wildsidenormani . 1 1
Gerardo Posted January 28 Posted January 28 people are saying there’s clues on this vid but I’m not sure
Dialamba Posted January 28 Posted January 28 Coming for Tommy when thank u next is her most acclaimed album and has 5 Grammy noms Positions is her most cohesive album, some of y’all are just plain boring and don’t want artists to explore. 3
State of Grace. Posted January 28 Posted January 28 Tommy is a great producer. It's just that some of his work on Positions was slightly underwhelming to me and I thought they needed a break tbfh. Some songs sounded very undercooked and didn't reach their full potential (short track lengths, lack of bridges...) but the title track, Off The Table, My Hair, POV, Safety Net, and Nasty remain career highlights. I think the album suffers from being too cohesive sometimes, but its sitting prettily in my Top 3/4 depending on the day 4

My20sBlues Posted January 28 Posted January 28 Tired of hating Positions, it's literally a solid album from start to finish with slick production, but the tasteless are brave 5
