They show she's established having similar numbers from nearly 4 years ago after a long break and awful PR blasting her everyday on social media for the past few months **** isn't black and white it’s personal to them. you know they take their faves achievements as their own seeing other artists unable to hit her numbers, makes their music taste seem better. but like azealia once said "McDonald's sells a lot of burgers and no one is telling them that they're the pinnacle of cuisine and taste" 10
nasa Posted March 9 Posted March 9 What are your favorite lyrics on the album? Mine would have to be “me and my truth, we sit in silence … mmm, baby girl, it’s just me and you”
Gerardo Posted March 9 Posted March 9 i think the wcbf performance will have some sort of props, or stage building?
Taste of Honey Posted March 9 Posted March 9 2 minutes ago, Material Girl said: i like the album but it doesn't really hit the same way the run from sweetener to positions did it feels very safe and polished in a way that could use a little more *something* that i can't quite explain. i blame max martin, i usually feel that way about a lot of his productions I totally feel what you mean. I actually like what he did on this record, but he’s definitely someone you love a lot or really hate. He has a very mathematical approach to his production where everything just fits and locks into place seamlessly. Which isn’t a knock to him at all, he’s a genius and his talent and ear can’t be overstated. It’s just not my thing typically. 1
Rider Posted March 9 Posted March 9 Idk if I'm ready to say this is better than tun but even if it's not gonna be it's an amazing album and it fills me with so much joy. 2

R.E.M. Posted March 9 Posted March 9 forever kicking and screaming that 'yes, and?' was the lead 2 1 2
Aristocrat Posted March 9 Posted March 9 3 minutes ago, R.E.M. said: forever kicking and screaming that 'yes, and?' was the lead honestly with the video, it should’ve been we can’t be friends cause that song + video would’ve set the stage for the concept album so much better. and following that, title track, don’t wanna breakup again, supernatural, or the boy is mine were all better single options than yes, and? 3
50thStateofMind Posted March 9 Posted March 9 My top tracks are eternal sunshine we can’t be friends ordinary things supernatural dont wanna break up again

Post Malone Posted March 9 Posted March 9 We Cant Be Friends is such a beautiful song but was executed horrendously, the drums and synths sound so free trial FL studio, the break in the instrumental in the 2nd verse was laughably boring, and vocally it’s just a lead vocal throughout with no any interesting background vocals or like any details… it ends up sounding like a 835,627 streamed Cheryl single from 2018 with a pixarted black and white cover art 1
Taste of Honey Posted March 9 Posted March 9 The bridge on don’t wanna break up again might be my single favorite moment on the record. 2
Cesar Posted March 9 Posted March 9 it’s a kii seeing her visuals drastically increase in terms of quality, once she fired all her friends 1 3 4
duybeeGAshantiGA Posted March 9 Posted March 9 Anyone noticed that the belting notes on a few songs like Supernatural and True Story sound very different to her nowadays belting notes. Eversince prolly the latter period of Positions to Yours Truly 10th Anni. Performances to Wicked, her high belting notes have been suoer bright with a great mix, but in those adlib belting notes on a few songs off Eternal sunshine (Supernatural, True Story, etc.), she sounds full, chesty, rich and powerful, quite similar to her earlier belting notes (Yours Truly, ME, DW, and even on some songs from Sweetener like GIAW etc.). It's very inch resting how she keeps changing and switching techniques nowadays. I think she has mastered her vocal art skills. 3
SpaceOddity Posted March 9 Posted March 9 Updated rank. We Can't Be Friends Ordinary Things The Boy Is Mine True Story Yes, And? I Wish I Hated You Don't Wanna Break Up Again Eternal Sunshine Supernatural Imperfect For You Bye 2

Shows that even as a great singer already, you can elevate yourself to even higher heights. I wonder if she'd ever try opera someday because I think she's capable Edited March 9 by LustSpell 2
Nashe Posted March 9 Posted March 9 I've been doing nothing but obsessing over this album for the past two days and tomorrow I'll be gagging over the SNL performances

Zylo Posted March 9 Posted March 9 I’m on my first listen and am floored at the lead decision the way I went from 0 to immediately adding the album to my library. YA was cute and all but I would have never known she was gonna eat like this from the single
My20sBlues Posted March 9 Posted March 9 I think the title track is my favorite song on the album, the chorus is GORGEOUS
