Theshigo Washidu Posted January 12 Posted January 12 At least those women had good music to back up or justify the gimmicks. Lil Nas doesn't. 1
SLAY Muppet Posted January 12 Posted January 12 (edited) I mean I guess he means he wants to be his own thing instead of compared, which I mean I guess sis. I can see that hes not shading them though Edited January 12 by SLAY Muppet

Gorjesspazze9 Posted January 13 Posted January 13 Hard pivot and make a 90’s house track. Make music for his Stan’s instead of trying to be controversial for views. 2
suburbannature Posted January 13 Posted January 13 Maybe he should have given a few more f*cks and his song wouldn't sound like it does 3
foundwonderland Posted January 13 Posted January 13 He's just a has-been who is desperately trying to cling to relevance by overdoing his "disrespecting religion" stunts for controversy. The only people who care about this loser are raging conservatives who stupidly eat the bait every time. Other than that WHO is streaming this man's music and what talents is he exactly known for other than triggering Christians and being an out gay artist? He is constantly bringing up everyone under the sun and it's clear his PR team is desperate for him to be relevant again. 4
BILLIONAIRE✘BOY Posted January 13 Posted January 13 What did the song have to do with Jesus? Not understanding like any of this. I've seen a few interviews with him and he seems artistically illiterate. Not sure how he will bounce back from this. 1 6
readytowind Posted January 13 Posted January 13 OK. Disrespect for a huge flop. So noised and loud. Bye.

Rotunda Posted January 13 Posted January 13 I have no idea why this thread got to 13 pages. Lil Nas X is a stan-turned-popstar. He obviously knows Madonna and Gaga’s impact, but it’s probably annoying seeing someone dismiss your art because they’re obsessed with comparing your output to legends. 1
Maroonx Posted January 14 Posted January 14 He wishes he had Gaga and Madonna's number right now to try to get a duet in order to save his flop comeback... yikes x

I don’t give him the negative outrage he’s baiting out of yall, you’re the one falling for it. I don’t care for him or his music so I don’t stream it but I also don’t do his marketing for him by boosting his engagements the way yall do by publicly denouncing him How would I give engagement on an app I don’t have nor use? I didn’t even engage with what he said directly, I engaged with your comment because it was a dumb argument for his defense. I don’t care for him or his ‘music’ either, and if more of the gays on here were honest, they would say the same. There is absolutely nothing redeeming about him as an artist outside of his race and sexuality… which is why it’s mostly all people can use to defend him. 1
theoghon Posted January 16 Posted January 16 (edited) atrl PRESSED that fellow/former atrler does NOT worship at the same altar good 4 him tbh nevertheless J Christ wasn't the strongest start 4 him, hopefully he BODIES the next single and skips the corniness Edited January 16 by theoghon
Sugar-Rush Posted January 16 Posted January 16 The unnecessary disrespect. He could've handled it with a lot more class and simply said that he's not trying to emulate anyone else and just wants to do his own thing, without the "idgaf what they did" part, but it seems like the norm these days for Gen Z artists to be really disrespectful on social media. Wonder if he'll eventually give a forced apology.
