True, but the easter eggs she's been sharing on her accounts and the confirmation from multiple insiders that she's working with Ava Max/Slayyyter collaborators seems to suggest she's committing to a full pop sound and referring to the new album as a sibling is pretty intentional.

Which collaborators? Hope it’s more Troubled Paradise and less Heaven and Hell

Do we think it’s possible we might be getting something this month? I know she’s intensely working on the album as we speak but maybe now that she’s out of her contract she won’t stick to that stupid ‘waiting until the whole album is completely finished before releasing anything’ strategy (unless that was her idea all along).

Am I the only one who thinks Animal and Teenage Dream sound completely different? :deadbanana2: Animal is pure electro pop while TD is like contemporary bubblegum pop. I don’t think they have anything in common besides Dr. Luke credits.

Oh yes. Animal is very influenced by Pure electropop and chiptune-8bit. It also has so many cool vocal effects-plugins. Is very similar to The Fame in that sense. Straight electronic record

Teenage Dream has electropop too but is like lighter-softer. The album is also very pop rock. Songs like hummingbird heartbeat-teenage dream feel more like dance pop power pop songs than electronic ones.

I think the similarities is how both are very colorful albums. Very irreverent and they have that "teenage" "be wild" energy from 2010

I mean technically all of her albums are her children / would be siblings. I don't think it'd be wise to read too much into this being a tease of the album being an Animal 2.0 or anything, just saying.

like how is that not the most obvious thing ever by now :toofunny2: California Gurls is a poor man’s Tik Tok and I said what I said

in addition to that? Teenage Dream plays like a compilation album with a few cute singles and some questionable tracks. Animal, for all of its irreverence, plays like a full album to be experienced, just like every project in Kesha’s discography since. idk. Katycats are wild sometimes

This one.

I was a teen in that time of the Electropop era and when California Gurls was released so many were in love with it but they called it a "Tiktok rehash" "A New take on Tiktok" there's clearly a lot of similarities melody-hook wise.

Dr Puke had a habit. He loved to rehash some of his older hits into some new ones. It almost got him in trouble with some pop girls. Producers like Ryan tedder also did this. RedOne too :giraffe:

im sorry this is news to me, which song is thar? :deadbanana:

A snippet of the instrumental for "Ghost" was included in Kesha's MTV show My Crazy Beautiful Life, but that doesn't mean it was a Kesha reject. :skull: The instrumental for "Excuse My Rude" by Jessie J and Becky G was also used. Luke probably just provided some recent unused instrumentals as production filler and they were later written to for Katy and Jessie's projects respectively.

Good hope she names it NANA OCTOPUS or BAT SH*T KESHA INSTEAD OF BAT SH*T CRAZY ALTHOUGH….. 🤪

Maybe she will do the whole Taylor thing and reissue her albums rerecorded.

I thought you'll were talkin about International Smile LMFAO.  That bridge was so similar to the Thinkin Of You one.
Is like Dr Luke copy pasted

You’re all reading into this wrong :rip:

She didn’t say sister album… she said sibling. She just means another album. But all your reactions are sending me…:ryan3:

Her most enjoyable album :clap3:

However, I think she means sibling only as a new album, as all her albums are her children. I don't think she's making Animal 2.0

I would be here for her switching back and forth from now on between Gag Order-esque experimental pop introspective writing and bratty electropop excellence.

This is exactly what stans want so she should absolutely stay away from this idea. :eli:

I think that’s a stretch read of her tweet but I’m excited regardless
