RedOne produced songs aged worse than Dr. Luke produced songs lbr

His work from 08-10 which happened to be all with Gaga is still particularly fresh. His work from 2011 onwards (Jlo, Nicki, Pitbull) maybe.

Dr Luke very clearly handed his stronger work to Katy since she was bigger and Kesha got the leftovers lol.

I really can’t finish streaming The Fame.

It’s actually the other way around. He imitated and copy pasted Animal’s sound on Teenage Dream and Prism even has a Kesha outtake.

I mean, that sounds has come and gone, literally out of all the Pop albums of all the MPG’s of her generation Animal (and TD) have aged the absolute worst without a doubt.

It's been 14 years since "Tik Tok" was a smash, I feel like that sound will come back around in some form soon.

If she’s smart, she’ll position herself in the PC-adjacent space and team up with an Ag Cook or Gecs or Danny L Harle

i've BEEN saying this!!! :jonny:  Hannah getting an old kesha demo for her album produced by david gamson gives me hope she's being introduced in that space (not sure if kesha even had any knowledge of it being recorded by her but i can dream). at the least would love her to work w Gamson again

also our trusty insiders spilled a few months ago that she was making bops with the likes of madison love so it definitely seems like she's going back to electro pop. who do we know of so far that she's been working with?

why would she go back to making dr luke’d pop songs i thought she hated that sound

Half of Animal was recorded before Kesha even met Dr. Luke and Kesha loves Animal & Cannibal.

The constant AtRl gaslighting as if the classics Just Dance and Poker Face alone don't stomp all over TikTok or TD singles, not even counting Bad Romance and the other singles from the era. :bibliahh:

They really don’t, but go off :rip:.

Yeah no lol.

BM becoming a single after more than a decade of being around is the biggest proof that someone’s music is aging better than someone else's. Like seriously imagine an album track from TD or any of Kesha’s albums getting single treatment after being around that long? :deadbanana2: Not happening it would sound beyond out of place on the radio at this date.

I’d love for her to give us animal 2.0.

1) You quoted the wrong comment

2) Whether you believe something aged badly or not is completely subjective

3) What you described is not “proof“ of anything, let alone “biggest proof“

4) Even if you want to go down this irrelevant route, both Backstabber and Cannibal went viral on TikTok over a decade after their release, the latter receiving an official lyric video too and charting in Canada - without the help of a popular Netflix show

If she's going back to Pop she better bring her full blown A-GAME or else... everything is just going to be called Diet Dr. Luke music.

Dr. Luke didn't get her into the genre, you can tell her genuine love for the sound by how she approached the legendary synth-pop producer David Gamson, and made amazing electropop bops without Luke on Animal.

EXACTLY! lest we forget the surplus of unreleased bops which don’t have luke anywhere near the credits. she’s a pop artist and a rockstar at the same time, at heart

like how is that not the most obvious thing ever by now :toofunny2: California Gurls is a poor man’s Tik Tok and I said what I said

in addition to that? Teenage Dream plays like a compilation album with a few cute singles and some questionable tracks. Animal, for all of its irreverence, plays like a full album to be experienced, just like every project in Kesha’s discography since. idk. Katycats are wild sometimes

I would love that. "Hymn" proved to me that she could go for Dr. Luke Animal/Cannibal beats without needing him. I hope she works with that team more.

Not sure what her relationship is with Max Martin / Savan Kotecha / ILYA... but I feel like them (and Tayla Parx) would make a good 4/5-song puzzle piece of a full Kesha album.

luke signed Kesha to his label Katy was signed to Capitol already. as far as "having bigger hits" his aim was to give those tracks to Kesha since he gains more via Kesha than via Katy

The think pieces some users subject us to when they can simply just say ‘well Animal aged for me and anything not made by Lady Gaga sucks’ and move on.

She’s currently at Rick Rubin’s studio :duca:
