When the late 00’s/early 10’s sound comes back in 20 years and everyone is referencing Kesha and TD as the influence you’ll get it Girl let's be real. NO ONE is going to be referencing Kesha or even TD in 20 years bfrfr If anything it will be the actually defining electronic music of the time, meaning The Black Eyed Peas's E.N.D era and Lady Gaga's The Fame / TFM eras. BraveNewSeth Posted January 9 Posted January 9 Animal is THE early 2010’s Dr. Luke produced electro pop album. So good and still holds up today, the mid-tempo songs in particular. 3 1

dawnettakins Posted January 9 Posted January 9 The constant AtRl gaslighting as if the classics Just Dance and Poker Face alone don't stomp all over TikTok or TD singles, not even counting Bad Romance and the other singles from the era. Anyways, back to being OT. I'm looking forward to what Kesha brings to the table next! 1 3

brooklyndaddy Posted January 9 Posted January 9 If she’s smart, she’ll position herself in the PC-adjacent space and team up with an Ag Cook or Gecs or Danny L Harle 6

It’s really this simple tbh. Gaga’s music still stands it’s ground because of how distinct her sound was (she had a unique roster of producers that did NOT work with every other MPG like Dr Luke did) and that’s why it’s standing the test of time.

Interesting argument when all of her megahits from that era - Poker Face, Just Dance, and Lovegame - are produced by the same person, RedOne 1 4 2

Hence her sound was distinct. Some of y’all don’t know much outside of cute gay top 40 bops and it shows.
