Gotye easily retained his Record of the Year win for “Somebody That I Used To Know (feat. Kimbra)” in our 2013 poll, while Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe” unsurprisingly took home the Song of the Year category with nearly half of the vote.

In 2014, the Recording Academy nominated a bunch of hit songs from mostly unusual hitmakers. Daft Punk won Record of the Year for “Get Lucky (feat. Pharrell Williams and Nile Rodgers)” while Lorde took home Song of the Year for her breakthrough smash “Royals.” Vote now!

Lorde for both. She made history at 16 and changed the pop scene forever.

The song is also still the most relevant one today compared to other options.

Roar, Royals and Locked out of Heaven are still doing great numbers. Just give me a reason is almost a AC/HAC classic WW

Grammys got it right this year. Although in little surprised by the eventual hard on for Bruno Mars didn’t start here for LOOH. Also a little surprised “Same Love” didn’t take song, they loved Macklemore this year and political songs typically win here when nominated.

I am little basic but I would’ve voted (from what on the Grammys radar) Wagon Wheel for Record and Merry Go Round for Song over all five of these.
