Speaking about the advice she'd give to young people in the industry, she said: "They need to learn how to relax, how to not think about it so much, aren’t these two things contradictory? That's exactly what I thought. lol.

Yeah, GEN Z were the ones who created Climate Change, something that can be traced back as far as the 70s. literal WORMS for brains
Relampago. Posted January 9 Posted January 9 Yeah pretty much everyone hit the nail on the head in regards to the issues with Gen Z - Gen X/Older Millennials were swept up in an economic crisis during ‘08 that reduced the quality of parenting for Gen Z/Gen Alpha, phones/internet/other tech often filled that gap for the worst - Boomers/Older Gen X do not give a **** about what Gen Z’s concerns are (very valid ones at that!) because they feel they won’t be around to face the consequences of the **** they’ve caused and will leave younger generations to face it. Gen Z knows this and has become extremely apathetic and nihilistic as a result of having little power to have their concerns heard - There simply isn’t enough reward for working hard anymore. Why work hard when it’s hard to get fired and whether you half-ass your work or go all in, you pretty much end up with the same result? Barely making ends meet, no chance of buying a house, just worked dry and not a single part of the “American Dream” gets achieved. If people really want Gen Z/Gen Alpha to get better, there has to be some kind of incentive for them to do so. But the reality is, Boomers and Gen X are selfish and don’t actually really care about younger generations’ well being due to their own ignorance about what they’ve caused and how it’s affecting young people. Kinda sad, but I hope that Millennials, Gen Z and Gen Alpha all remember how we were treated and work to make a better future for other generations. All that aside, I’m kind of gagging at how old the median age of ATRL seems to be based off this thread. I kinda assumed most people were in their 20s but it doesn’t seem like it unless Gen Zers are self-dragging in this thread

Talking about someone having "worms for brains", Neanderthal It's been each generations own battle to deal with. It's definitely going to win with Gen Z taking the lead. "Something to be traced back to the 70s", yes, of the 1700s. Edited January 10 by QueenBLadyG

Rocking up late to work because “I’m focusing on well being” is something that has started with the late Millennial generation and Gen Z ate it up. You can focus on your well being and be punctual and professional and not let others down who are relying on you to keep your commitments.
