I love Gaga and Britney but Femme Fatale is a much more pleasant listen

ARTPOP is far, far better. 
It also sold more copies and got stronger reviews (overall). 
ARTPOP isn’t great, but Femme Fatale is a mid-tier, generic album (it’s Kesha by the numbers).

Also a better comparison would be ARTPOP vs Britney Jean. 
Why compare one of Gaga’s worst albums to one of Britney’s only good albums? 
Gaga was drugged, drunk and depressed writing, producing ARTPOP but it’s still so much better than any Britney album since Circus.

It’s kind of a tossup for me. Femme Fatale was more consistent but I personally think that Artpop had higher highs but lower lows. I enjoy both though.

Neither of them is great, but at least ARTPOP was adventurous and exciting.

 

Femme Fatale has a few bops but its a mess that not even Britney herself wanted to make. The fact that it is considered one of her best albums is :rip:

Femme Fatale moved more units globally than ARTPOP despite being Britney’s seventh studio album. 
 

OT: ARTPOP is terrible and DWUW/G.U.Y. could only carry it so far. Femme Fatale is a much stronger project in every way.
