Yeah, IVE is seeing massive success and i failed to see how Starship won't spend a single dime to give WJSN another comeback, they are so talented and it's such a waste to see them being neglected like this. Are their fandom that small in Korea? Even flovers are sending trucks or something to Pledis because of fromis_9 long breaks :chick3:

I don't even know the agency renewed their contracts if they'd just let the girls sitting around doing now.

I know, most of them do have individual activities but the WJSN brand as a whole took a hit, Starship should've either not renewed or given the group a few more tries.

TWICE, SKZ, and ATEEZ are the 3 K-pop acts to have had albums reach #1 on the Billboard 200 this year, with SKZ achieving the feat 2 times :clap3:

Well if the get Kep1ered it would be without Gunwook the way Jellyfish created EVNNE just to wait for him to comeback and debut their new boygroup.

And YueHua the fact they have Yujin, Gyuvin, Ricky and Zang Hao from ZB1 and Seungeon and Yunseo from EVNNE, the group line up is pretty much here and they have 2 main vocalists out of this.

Isn't that false? Beyoncé was the first to have accomplished that, I believe.

I was also thinking the same and was confused at first, but I think she accomplished that with her studio albums only? I think some of her EP's and OST albums didn't go #1, breaking her streak?

Everything Is Love and The Gift both peaked at #2 in 2018 and 2019 respectively, but they came out after her six #1s debuts on Billboard 200 from DIL to Lemonade. unless they randomly count Destiny's Child albums... Beyoncé was indeed the first music act to debut her first six albums at #1.

I just checked, and her live album, which was released after her debut album, and her Spanish EP, which came out after B'Day, did not debut at #1.

DMX had that record before

it's a stupidly specific record, they're referring to their first credited appearances on the chart overall.

3 out of Beyonce's first 6 appearances on the BB200 didn't hit #1. Her second appearance on the chart was Live at Wembley which debuted at #17,  her fourth appearance on the chart was the Irreemplazable EP which debuted at #105, and her sixth appearance on the chart was Above and Beyoncé which debuted at #35.

the closer we get to ZB1 disbandment the less faith I have in them pulling off a contract renewal

The lineup is just too strong and too many semi-established companies are in the mix... Yuehua will want their four people back, and Jellyfish will want Gunwook back.

There might be hope for the other 4 if WakeOne can scam something together but but idk girls... we might just end up with Taerae

When are we doing the end of year KTRL rate thing? When I say "we" I don't mean me personally, as I don't know how to do anything, but I shall partake and provide the best list of course. :gaycat4:

I think I know what my top 5 are now. This was actually a really good year for Kpop.

As they should! We need those 4 back at Yuehua ASAP, so that they can fund EVERGLOW's comeback!!!
