It's kinda sad how small companies don't do well now like in the 2nd/3rd gen.

Back in 2nd gen, almost nobody was selling albums or was profitable, and Kpop was mostly consumed in East Asia. The playing field was more even.

 

Globalization and the recent boom in album sales only really benefited the top groups, and the gap with less well known groups got bigger. :coffee2:

all of the big 3 say this constantly to investors but JYP seems to be the only one who truly follows through on these threats

I drag auntie boa for kiis(and for derailing aespa on several occasions) but the day her and taeyeon leave SM is the day I switch on that company like I did to YG :clack:
