Honestly, the accusations of payola seemed far-fetched at first, but the I'll Pray song plays after every other song each time. Before their debut, nobody paid much attention to this group. Even fans of the survival show they were on were disappointed with the lineup, and their social media engagements were deader than Stray Kids' chart history on Melon. So no wonder HYBE had to resort to this kind of fraudulent behaviour.

It was obviously impossible an unknown group catapults into Spotify WW Top 20 in under a week when even Cupid tools weeks to chart high and had millions of videos on TikTok when it did. Magnetic right now has 190k. Clearly popular but not immediately topping WW charts like be for real.
