Like I said before, it's most likely that a group will appear at a fashion show than promoting their own music.

There are literally groups who get those brand deals even before their debut 

And I'm not gonna lie .. BLACKPINK contributed to this situation (luxury fashion deals, shifting their career to influencers).. at least they had some class, now it feels like everyday an idol is a global ambassador.

I'm not talking about one thing specifically, but the way you've been acting towards them since their debut and I don't think I've ever seen you post anything positive about them, but somehow you're always paying attention to their business.  Sometimes you seem to know more about what's going on with them than their fans or followers do wich is weird for someone that don't stan them. Feels like you are always checking everything just to formulate a negative take.  Again, why?

To me ADOR is a company like any other (they want money) but we can see they have a clear vision of what they are doing that's why they are receiving both success and critical acclaim domestically and internationally. Not gonna enter the Arts x charts discussion because I don't understand and I don't care about It as long as the content is great, I'm happy.

This is the smart thing to do (so it won't happen):

 

Tease jennie solo + release a single - May

 

Tease Rose solo + release a single - July

 

Announce that the solo's are part of the group's upcoming album coming in September

 

A 10 track group full album with the 2 solo's included at the end of it (maybe a 3rd song as a duet between Lisa and Jisoo but idk if the akgaes would burst in flames)

 

Do that challenge, MELON would implode

Paying attention and checking?Just by following this thread, I know now that they're INCHEON ambassador ! Just like I know by watching this thread that Wy will endorse Kerastase and Jiwoong and Hanbin did a new shoot for Gucci… 
 

I didn't commented bc they got a new cfs, I commented when a user said that they does it for different reasons, it's way more different than some saying that they don't deserve cfs  !

Those numbers aren't coming from Korea alone though? 
There's a difference between the Kpop market as an industry and the Korean music market as a country. Kpop as an industry would not be able survive without the global market, hence why they have always been dependent on the global market especially the Japanese music market since start. There's a reason why the J-pop industry didn't need to branch out globally like Kpop did, since Japan is already the 2nd biggest music market in the world, and you can make a lot of money there alone. 

 

Korea as a country, does not consume music the same way as Japan, which means that companies won't be able to make as much money in Korea alone. Korea doesn't even have large-scale stadiums for performers for example
