the verses/prechorus are a c*ntier sister to IU’s Holssi (what we hear in the teasers), but then the chorus sonically goes to Britney circa In The Zone w guitars followed by a post-chorus instrumental that was reminiscent of Mandy Moore’s In My Pocket. Also randomly, there was a vocal moment that reminded me of Gwen Stefani lol.

I actually couldn’t tell when the rap was her or Hongjoong because the audio was a little too loud during the filming, but I guess that means it fit well!

Well the pre jo1 idols didn’t train much in Japan it’s more growth through work and stuff.
Espically a 48 group with 200+ members and daily performances for some of them they don’t have the time to train for 10+ hours like k-idols do.

Kpop has a debut perfectly trained idols from the start mentality while typical j-idol groups had a grow with the audience mentality
