This is a proof that no matter how much payola 1 member gets, they wont be become the most popular member unless there's actual interest from the public

speaking of Woojin, it looks like Kakao is pissed that SM acquired his company

 

"Kakao is reportedly looking into mergers involving SM Entertainment executives. For instance, SM Entertainment acquired 10x Entertainment for $1.6 million (2.2 billion won) last September through its subsidiary Kreation Music Rights. At the time of the acquisition, 10x Entertainment’s liabilities exceeded its assets, and the agency had only one artist under management, Kim Woojin, a former member of JYP's Stray Kids. Additionally, two of 10x Entertainment’s internal directors worked for SM Entertainment, which sparked concerns about potential conflicts of interest.

 

“It is considered highly unusual for a company to acquire a company with only one artist,” said an industry insider."
