Having international writers doesn't mean the songs sound tailor made for the US  In fact the Swedish producers and writers (which most kpop companies are using now) has shaped the soundscape of Kpop

I'm really confused on how TXT are above NewJeans on IFPI. NewJeans sold as many albums and their streams are basically on par with BP/BTS. I'll never understand charts

I think NJ recorded the highest sales for a female Kpop group in a single year ever with around 4M physical albums sold across 3 EPs, but yeah, they are still behind boy groups.
