And why is J.Y.P himself attending and not his artists?  
I get that SKZ have their concert in Philippines today, but what about ITZY and NMIXX?

MAMA's use to mean something. But I guess I just aged out of Kpop. Even tho I know these all are fan voted. Jimin? Illit? TWS? Really  this the standard of Kpop in 2024. Weak year for hits and good music.

There's the thing, except for those 20 fan's choice awards and the fan's choice daesang, the rest doesn't factor fan votes anymore, so ILLIT-TWS wins were 100% based off sales (80%) and Judges panel evaluations (whatever that is, but it's 20%)

 

Which makes it harder for Mnet to rigg the main awards, the fan voting being a part of the Main Prizes system let Mnet give awards to pretty much whoever attended the show for years and it wasn't really fair.

those are the groups that debuted this year .. there wasn't really a choice
