HYBE could have been higher but they have debt over all those companies and IP they bought, they are now starting to paying them, That new building is really doing a huge dent in JYP's money, like how can TWICE, ITZY AND STRAY KIDS touring bringing as much money than (G)I-DLE tour only.

well whoever wrote the tweet is pulling shit out their ass. the Hybe number is net profit, not net income, and they're comparing all kinds of different sets of numbers that aren't comparable at all. JYP won't release their results until next week, idk when YG and Cube release their results but they're not out yet either.

 

The real net profit numbers we have so far for Q3 2024:

SM: 3.7b won (-95.6%)

Hybe: 1.4b won (-98.6%)

 

why cant people just stick to kpop instead of being armchair financial analysts

Cube and YG is an estimation based on HYBE reports, probably media play by one of these 2 companies to counter attack HYBE cause it was comparing them to HYBE results.
