I saw a post about how K-Pop idols typically regress vocally after debuting because of the hectic live style and not being able to train basics anymore because there's no time anymore. And I do wonder how lipsyncing ultimately influences vocal regression. Some of these 4th gen groups exclusively use their vocal chords in the studio. I can see the benefit in vocal rest, but like it's become so excessive that some of these groups feel like glorified demo singers. And whenever they actually have to sing live, they sound awful.

 

There also needs to be something said at how the K-Pop industry really does not care about setting up protections for live singers, to ensure that people can healthily sing for a long time. You get treated like a dog regardless of what you do, so I also kinda get how idols these days tend not be interested at all in working your body to a pulp for nothing.

I blame 6 music shows a week. Like yes we get more performance but 2-3 max would suffice just fine, and idols wouldn't be so overworked both mentally and physically, voice included

It's really annoying when a girl group has 2-3 members who can hold a note but since the rest sound like dying cows then the entire group get a bad reputation , can they stop hating on women and start dragging enhypen instead idk
