So what is actually next for NewJeans now with MHJ out the door? They have made it clear that they have aligned themselves with her, so it appears they have been punished with a lack of content and less of a push. Especially with How Sweet underperforming globally, Magnetic taking off the way it did, and with the increasing playlist reach LSF has received...it seems like they'll be treated as a side project as opposed to the biggest active girl group right now.
