Speaking of Teddy. He used to make gorgeous melodic songs

 

 

2NE1 and Big Bang were truly his peak sonically, no shade to the BP girlies

its true though I guess blackpink became too huge they just decided to use the group as their tool to get other bigger and better things

 

sadly, music-wise bp never really reached their full potential. as we can see with lisa, the girls are capable of melodic music. and lisa is apparently the "least musical" one in the group

 

if only they used the pinks' long list of western artists and producers connection but nope

 

lisa got ilya, tove lo, rosalia and max martin in 1 song i'm sure a melodic max martin produced blackpink track was also possible but teddy and ygly are gatekeeping the girls for whatever reason

Say what u want but when YG wants he can do his thing amazingly! And he did it with BP in the beginning, things turn sour when he got bored and make them rerlease Dududu ove rand over again with just a  different name...

This is the first time I've seen the "RIIZE IS 7" chants while they were actually on the stage, usually they do it during intermission or before/after the show when the group isn't present

Blue the song was primarly written by GD and he made the first demo, Teddy then reworked the entire production while keeping his ideas.

Wedding Dress while Taeyang didn't write a single words, he changed the entire melody of the song cause the song wasn't intended for him at the beginning, which bring You & I into the mix because it was supposed to be part Solar instead of Wedding Dress.

 

 

Se7en even said he recorded both Wedding Dress & You & I before both Taeyang & BOM.
