and yes most societies in the world are patriarchal and we've seen heinous crimes against women in other countries too, but this case is about a Korean man, so obviously people are gonna talk about Korean society and how it is notorious for treating women as inferior beings to men in their socio-economic dynamic. Like, that's a fact. 
 

i mean if this thread was about something Indian, then I'm sure people would have been talking about that murder-rape case in Kolkata this month, but it's not.
