RV getting no creative support from Sm isn't suprising. SM is Trash:rip:

SNSD 15th anniversary was made possible because of Tiffany & YoonA. They even said on broadcast that scheduling variety shows and thier Soshi tam tam wouldn't  have happen for Forever1. SM just wanted them to have a single:deadbanana: if it weren't for the girls themselves stepping up and making the album we would have had another Holiday mess with 3 days on music shows…. And we technically still only got a week promo but the song was a hit so SM had no choice but to give us the everlasting love concert and extra media presence.

SM treats thier top girl groups like trash.

Do you think that it's so that it doesn't happen what kinda happened to Blackpink and the girls don't outgrow the group brand so they feel like they need to stay in the group or in SM??? Cuz to me it feels like it, sometimes the company is holding back potential on purpose.

Tower of God's Season 2 is starting next month after 4 years and TOP is still charting

I don't think people are talking enough about how TOP might be the biggest anime OST song by Korean act or even the biggest song by a Korean act in Japan in general? The fact that it's maybe on it's way to become the longest charting song in Oricon history, not just for Kpop acts but overall??  I wonder what the overall record is?

A smash hit :clap3:

I think that's exactly what's happening.

Is the effort in the room with us?

That basically only applies for their men :rip:

I mean Aespa had it pretty good for their comeback no? Or have I missed something

Maybe it's something to do with the team splits in production, not RV being bunched with irrelevants :rip:

It took them 3 years and that's barely the minimum :bam:

Yeah, so I missed/forgot this.

General Mills Unveils Limited-Edition, Collectible Cereal Boxes Featuring Gen Z Icons TOMORROW X TOGETHER

So did they match them up well with the brands?  Must've been a fight to see who'd be the Trix.

What I don't miss is seeing TXT on this digital bill board while driving home for, like, months now.

:cm:

Oh my Goodness? So those evil mfers are on more than one cereal box? This is disgusting :biblio:

I need them on trial alongside NewPayola.

You can't deny that they (plus SNSD) have had better treatment than RV though.

SM doesn't handle any of their female acts well, but RV has the most extreme case of it out of their current female acts. It's so sad to see.

I barely see any difference like if we really make comparison to SNSD and RV and say their first few years to aespa.

They definitely had the best headstart.  were not even including f(x) yet in terms of worst mistreatment   :bam:

Seems like Armageddon will peak at #5 max on Korean charts. As expected since aespa's "brighter" songs always do better (Next Level / Spicy / Supernova)

SM was making management fails with RV from day 1 with their rushed teaser pics and that Japan scandal on their very first MV.

And also I'm talking about now, since SM 3.0. aespa's production center manages things a billion times better than RV's, it's painfully obvious when looking at them side by side. The RV girlies need better management.

On Korean charts it's having a similar performance to Dreams Come True, which is not bad at all, but as expected Supernova is a meteoric smash and it is overshadowing a little. On Spotify it has been slaying as well.

Two simultaneous hits plus another million selling album in the space of like 2-3 weeks...aespa truly ATE this comeback up :clap3:

I agree about their center mismanaging RV and they definitely deserves better.

It's just kinda unfair to compare it to aespa when this is the only time in their career so far that their promotional roll out has been better.

let's not forget they were shelved for almost a year like who does that? :bam:

I've followed both groups closely throughout, so I think we will have to disagree there. aespa's promotion has always been better (which is good SM is sometimes learning from some past mistakes).

aespa had a terrible time with SM 3.0 and LSM leaving etc, but RV was also seriously affected and shelved from Birthday (November 2022) all the way until Chill Kill (November 2023) when SM directly clashed their comeback with Drama by aespa, instead of giving them a chance to shine alone.

Shipping them to murika attending Macy's parade and doing BuzzFeed videos is not exactly I would consider as something "better" :rip:

But yeah we can just agree to disagree. I'm not sure why are we even comparing them when the bigger culprit here are those men in that company :rip:

At least they got to go to America. SM refused to sign RV to a U.S. label despite having 4x RIAA Gold eligible singles (more than any other in SM) and executives publicly stating they wanted to work RV.

And let's not talk about their latest "world tour" which completely ignored America despite the demand/fanbase literally begging. :emofish:

OT: I just can't agree with you that aespa has had the same and/or worse treatment than RV, that's all...because I don't think it's true.

Which is one of the worst decisions they've made. It harmed them than do good for their brand :rip:

weren't this base used to complain how SM was media playing and forcing aespa in the west instead of letting them grow organically :rip: that also fuels the hate train they were already receiving  :rip:

In comparison to RV first 3 years where they were  establishing themselves as a well respected top idol group in Korea. We used to wish that for aespa instead   :coffee:
