 i think they're trying to appease to different demographics, l think they still want their bsides to be popular with koreans and have more girly vibes while their titles have the hard hitting vibe

atp I don't even think it's just SM giving them bsides like that when the members have a say in their music now. Giselle chose "You" as her fav track in Drama while Ningning said hers was YOLO   Also Karina was talking about giving us "easy listening" music in 2024 at the end of last year too
