if all the alleged HYBE mistreatment/sabotage of NewJeans amounts to them not getting to debut before LSF, Mr. Pigman being petty with greeting them in passing, and Illit having an "overlapping" concept I don't see how this works out for them and MHJ, legally, in court.

It probably doesn't and most of this is the court of public opinion, which could sway shareholders and keep MHJ on the board. If she leaves NewJeans will decline. We saw what has happened at SM with LSM leaving even if he was neurotic as hell. 

MHJ's and Parents reveals:
- BHS wanted MHJ to make a group that could stomp out aespa (peak savage era)

- MHJ got access to all of Source's trainees and took the group and got her own label

- BHS made jokes and jabs at her when OMG charted on the Hot 100 

- General lack of care or empathy toward NewJeans despite his company investing so much in them

- Plainly copying the whole concept and debuting a new group, only to put NewJeans on a 1.5 year hiatus too

- They havent had a comeback in almost a year and should be prepping for a tour by now (because people would go in droves)

 

Idk this whole situation has become such a media story that its clear the side to pick that benefits the group is MHJ's, but also that will come with less resources from HYBE. The situation is too complex and mostly heresy, it will not hold up in court at all.

They already broke even Gaeul said he bought a car for her dad or sum with her first check so yeah they are a lucrative group for having nothing but cheap videos despite album sales, streams and tour tickets

Supernova is AMAZING. It's the first song I've heard of Aespa but it's so well-done! It's so Charlie XCX, Sophie, and even a bit of Coraline Polachek. I've checked out more of their discography and their experimental sound is such a breath of fresh air

yup, they've submitted their 2 weeks notice last year. they're legit done with seriously performing. they realized they can make way more money being influencers at a fraction of the effort.

Sorry for the late reply. Busy day :( I think it all started when Taehyung called out Bang PD on a YouTube show about not recognizing him when he saw him, not even knowing his name. I think there are too many little details to count, I can't say hate but I can tell you that Taehyung is clearly not a company/BPD lover lol
