Ah I LOVE Supernova! SNSD's daughters! Song and video are UNHINGED and campy as hell. So happy to see this kinda weirdo gay hyperpop in Kpop again. (Hate to say it but SM is... good this year; their releases aren't safe and we're finally moving away from the hip-hop dominated Kpop sound of the last few years).

 Just my probably wrong theory, but I feel like Giselle crash landed on Earth first and decided to stay because she's trying to separate herself from the other 3. The other three are trying to make her assimilate back with them so they're running around wreaking havoc to get her attention. Ningning finds her which leads to Giselle resetting time to get away.

I'm really enjoying Supernova! The music video is amazing as well, one of their best. The song is giving me SJJD vibes but with an aespa touch.

 

I hope this isn't too campy or alternative for the Korean GP.

Morning aespa QUEENS, I loved the song and the aesthetics. The MV was really fun.

 

I liked ZB1 but I expected a bit better. I preferred SWEAT over Feel the Pop. My favorite from the album is soty Dear ECLIPSE.

 

 

ENHYPEN OUTSOLD. I wish they were in the MV but whatever. It's giving rock ballad with angst vibes, very 2nd gen.

 

 

I loved every song in the ENHYPEN album and can't choose a favorite one just yet. Served sx anthems and some VOCALS.

We do see some continuation from Spicy in a very surprising way. During the second chorus, time had stopped and now we know Giselle did that. But we also were seeing "glitches" in the real world so I think that's going to be the key to Armageddon and what's opening the Parallel Line.

The 80s camp aesthetic is on purpose. Aliens coming to Earth and struggling to assimilate used to be a popular motif (Britney and Iggy Azalea paid homage to it in "Pretty Girls," with references to Geena Davis in "Earth Girls Are Easy)." They're not only poking fun at 80s trends, but differentiating Aespa so it's clear they're not the normal Aespa group we usually see.

after watching the MV a second time (and with higher res) I must admit that the styling is not bad at all. although I still hate those shiny pink outfits 

anyway, I'm glad that aespa are finally returning back to form, I'm excited for the girls  I felt like their recent releases were kinda meh, but this is refreshing
