I know she pushed and fought to sing her stages live and even used the microphone purchased by her fanbar instead of the standard mics. She did the same during Like Water too. Combine that with a cute image + an excellent, catchy earworm of a song very specifically marketed towards Tiktok, and you have exactly the same situation Hybe produced with NJ less than 2 years ago. The other groups are just not marketed well enough in the sense that: a) they're too focused on one market, b) they're too focused on one sound (like BM copying BP, which surprisingly is now outdated), and / or c) they look at Tiktok as a "dance related app", which it is not. For kpop, it is a music app; it's where people discover music, rather than Spotify/AM/YT. Also, as much as we complain about underage members, the reality is that audiences generally don't care, and in fact, having younger members likely makes the group more relatable to the Tiktok demo. 1 1

The Korean websites Theqoo, Pann.nate, Instiz or the English website Pannchoa that translates the Korean websites? Theqoo is a big general Korean discussion board with a mixed userbase that skews on the older side. Comments are usually civil. Pann.nate is a discussion board dominated by female users that skews on the younger side. The comments don't hold back. You know what they say, Women's worst enemies are other women. Some call it a female incel forum. Instiz is similar to Theqoo but smaller and more focused on pop culture talk. Pannchoa is like what Netizenbuzz used to be and translates in English hot topic from Korean forums. It has its own community section that overlaps with "angry" Twitter users as far as I can tell. It's grounds for rants and fanwars. The snarky comments I quoted were from Pann.nate. 2
