Cheers Posted March 18 Posted March 18 Taeyong enlisting April 10th aw. I’m going to miss him! He has a horrendous voice and shouldn’t be getting so much lines, BUT that man is a true hard worker! He gives it his all on stage despite his herniated disc. And he worked hard to clean his image after his scandal. I’ll miss his beautiful face and I wish him the best! 1

ANTIclimatic Posted March 18 Posted March 18 My thing with the whole Seunghan situation is are we sure it’s solely the company that’s keeping him from coming back? He went through a lot and if I was in his place I would take a lot of time out of the industry for my mental health.

DelRey Posted March 18 Posted March 18 Omg kpop stans are weird af, Seunghan was in the group like 1 month just replace him with an actual good vocalist and call it a day, that boy is a problem magnet.

He went through a lot and if I was in his place I would take a lot of time out of the industry for my mental health. Well, it was his decision to step down; but whether or not he wants to come back is what remains unclear. I remember Yanan from Pentagon had health issues (I know, not the same thing) and was gone for a WHILE, to the point that he had to put out a statement to let the fans know he had been ready to come back but CUBE was keeping him in the dungeon. 1

But unlike Lucas, Seunghan has not established himself at all, so SM has no reason to bring him back.
Butters Posted March 18 Posted March 18 I last minute picked up 90$ tickets for IVE on Saturday, decent seats off to the side. I saw TWICE there 2 years ago with a worse view and paid twice as much. scattered observations: Wonyoung is like... the kpop idol. It's crazy how on she is all the time, if that makes any sense. Such a magnetic presence. Yujin killed it, you could tell she was the crowd's favorite Generally a lot of playback but Liz's vocals shined through Rei is adorable and kept waving at us in the cheapest highest up seats the energy for Kitsch was probably the highest of the night, surprisingly. And I Am of course. They kept replaying All Night as the encore, not an amazing song but it was my favorite part of the night. They'd walk to the back of the stage and pretend to say goodbye and then "WE COULD DO THIS ALL NIGHT" would suddenly start playing again and they'd all run out to the front stage again to jump around 9

Xalric Posted March 18 Posted March 18 I'm happy for them. They've been supportive of both I-DLE and Soojin since the beginning.
elevate Posted March 18 Posted March 18 So how likely is it that a boycott actually affects Riize? I don't usually pay attention to that section of Kpop because... well, that boycott plan is more verbose than any essay I've ever written, but the Seunghan situation is genuinely embarrassing. He is very talented, added a good presence to the group, and didn't do anything worthy of removal. But Love 119 was a hit. I wonder if that was because everyone expected Seunghan would be back by now. Riize is also not the only young BG that's been smashing lately.
