elevate Posted Tuesday at 01:53 AM Posted Tuesday at 01:53 AM Enhypen's new track is cute but a bit too tiktok friendly for me; a little too safe. In regards to why they don't get attention whereas songs like S Class, Chk Chk Boom, and other agonising tracks do, I'd just direct queries to the Billboard top 10; lack of taste is omnipresent and isn't clearing out anytime soon. NCT Dream's track is a lot of fun. Kinda feels like discount Shinee a bit; hopefully they stick with this direction. We love NCT and we support them. 3
elevate Posted Tuesday at 01:54 AM Posted Tuesday at 01:54 AM Which of you posted this bop a few days ago? It's been in my head on repeat again and it's not leaving. I don't have that much room and I need it to go. Please be more careful next time. 7 1

Now there is a problem with the HYBE leak the K-Pop fans (really the K-Pop fans not the entire audience) are asking themselves if they were really genuine in their concept. As an example you have Uhm Jung Hwa which didn't booked a hit with her album but it's on heavy rotation on the gay clubs. Solar too, and she's been booked at every LGBT events in Korea this year with one song only. I don't think HYBE is aiming for Gay club legacy success with LSF let's be real, but crazy only got them so far after their several scandals this year, they are looking for Perfect Night kinda success all around but the material wasn't there this year Solar is a good example of this too, she was aiming for Hwasa's level of success, but as long as she's happy.

I think their next title track will either make it or break it, tbh, the rumor is they will release Hot (which conclude their trilogy, Easy, Crazy, Hot) with Dua Lipa, hopefully the Dua Lipa collab is the real title track and not just a remix, and then if that actually bombs, then i don't think they will bounce back anytime soon..

No tea but I don't know how its possible to listen to le sserafim's discography and take away any message other than Source wanted a group for gays.

They seem like the "ideal" boy group that should've done really well in Korea? They're literally from HYBE, just like TXT and SVT, so you'd expect them to have at least similar domestic popularity as TXT at least? But even their juniors, like TWS and BOYNEXTDOOR, are out charting them? People say that the reason why SKZ are not snatching hits in Korea, is due to their musical style, but what is the excuse with ENHYPEN? Cause these songs could've easily been hits in Korea Well, I don't think their vampire concept and the moody/dark tone of most of their songs appeal koreans taste. Hence why HYBE have tried for more gp friendly songs with them like Sweet Venom and XO, but those didn't work for Korea neither the fans that prefer the other type of songs from them. In summary, although their songs could seem more gp friendly than idk, SKZ, they don't have the image nor the music koreans like. Compare their songs and style with the songs and groups that actually chart in Korea like TWS or Riize... Edited Tuesday at 07:29 AM by Darkling 1
