MusicFan98 Posted Monday at 08:58 PM Posted Monday at 08:58 PM Let me say the chorus kinda bops but they really thought they ate with this one and then aespa released Whiplash, they let them in the dust 2 1 2 1
Pluto6 Posted Monday at 09:12 PM Posted Monday at 09:12 PM (edited) I wonder why Korea completely decided to ignore ENHYPEN? They seem like the "ideal" boy group that should've done really well in Korea? They're literally from HYBE, just like TXT and SVT, so you'd expect them to have at least similar domestic popularity as TXT at least? But even their juniors, like TWS and BOYNEXTDOOR, are out charting them? People say that the reason why SKZ are not snatching hits in Korea, is due to their musical style, but what is the excuse with ENHYPEN? Cause these songs could've easily been hits in Korea Edited Monday at 09:15 PM by Pluto6

Though it was expected of NCT DREAM to out chart ENHYPEN I'm curious about the Spotify numbers Engod selling over a million with a crappy repackage with one and a half new songs
Save-Me-Oprah Posted Monday at 09:25 PM Posted Monday at 09:25 PM LITERALLY the new Enhypen song: yet another kpop group ripping off Ms. Paul, we hate to see it. 3

They need to give her like less than 10 seconds of lines until there is a massive improvement. 1 1

Their music and aesthetic is catered to young girls and that is okay. 1

I don't think it has anything to do with their concept. aespa's whole concept literally screams niche, and yet they are still the biggest gg domestically this year

They want them to be "an international group" which is why they do way more in Japan than Korea. 1

Xalric Posted Tuesday at 01:35 AM Posted Tuesday at 01:35 AM The song LESSERAFIM went for as a title track was not going to smash in Korea but they cemented themselves not only in Korea but worldwide as LGBT+ Icon. Now there is a problem with the HYBE leak the K-Pop fans (really the K-Pop fans not the entire audience) are asking themselves if they were really genuine in their concept. As an example you have Uhm Jung Hwa which didn't booked a hit with her album but it's on heavy rotation on the gay clubs. Solar too, and she's been booked at every LGBT events in Korea this year with one song only.
