Lmfao They just released a digital EP of the songs they were recording for their show. Idk why they decided to promote there though. It's totally the wrong audience. It feels like the U.K. management doesn't really know where to promote them. They also appeared on a kids TV show, which is the complete opposite to the older audience of Dancing With The Stars I feel like they have potential, but ironically the K-Pop tag is working against them and seems like it makes them automatically "uncool" to their home market 1

Rhyme Posted November 3 Posted November 3 20 minutes ago, Mel. said: We're not having this convo again lol. They debuted on April 1st with "SHEESH". The girls and YG agreed to have their debut reflect Ahyeon returning, so it was changed. as for the haters, they're threatened for their favs that's why they hate them. I'd prolly be pissed too if my fav was getting outdone vocally, dancing and rapping by minors too. BABYMONSTER's potential scares these girls. they'll stan talentless pretty faces who can't sing, but have a whole discourse for a group that can. Only in kpop… It's still the first release people will see when they scroll through BM's discog on Spotify/AM. Should've just waited for Ahyeon and debuted with Sheesh if BATTER UP was gonna be the first taste of BM's music 1

Gorjesspazze9 Posted November 3 Posted November 3 You know your debut is bad when even your Stan's refuse to acknowledge it. 10

April 1st is their debut date, at least officially according to YG directly (he released a video interview stating it before SHEESH came out). But I feel like, had Batter Up been more successful, that might not have been the case. It feels as though their first release did not meet expectations, so YG decided to revise history. On YG's website it's listed as 2024.04.01 Spoiler
the good guy_duh Posted November 3 Posted November 3 Anyway, Baemon lowkey served with DRIP, I'm bopping! The new YG's darling needs to stop screaming and focus on a healthier vocal delivery, though
cloudbusting Posted November 3 Posted November 3 baemon talented but they have absolute gutter **** music their first year in, very NMIXX-coded when you think about it maybe they'll luck out and get a Roller Coaster next though 2 3
the good guy_duh Posted November 3 Posted November 3 ASA should be pushed more, she seems brilliant at her craft 1

Odette Violet Posted November 3 Posted November 3 (edited) When you think about it. Baemon is truly the NMIXX of YG, very talented girls but the music are lacking that cool gangsta image isn't convincingly working either as opposed to BP and 2NE1 Edited November 3 by Odette Violet 1

Out of the big 3 GG debuts, it seems SM was the only one who got it right this time. aespa delivered Next Level within 6 months of debut 2

Like with Rosé, BP's concept is totally different to who she actually is and what music she'd release, but she still delivered every comeback convincingly 4
