so after Mark who is next for an nshitty solo?

Johnny? Haechan?

Probably Haechan or Jungwoo.

SM should give just a show to johnny, he is more suited for tv/youtube than music imo.

also I never realized @DelRey was a little jinster... interesting

U don't think other companies would operate in the same way as well esp when several of them are under Kakao - the biggest entertainment conglomerate in Korea who also owns several newspapers? That's how the Kpop industry works, when your competitor slips up, you jump and beat them down

But to be said, a company can fuel a hate train but it needs fire to start first. Like LSRF wouldn't get dragged if they didn't actually serve shitty vocals at Coachella, or IVE wouldn't get dragged if they didn't blatantly lipsync on live TV; or Momo-gate...

I mean Girls was utter ****, the entire album was bad, LTS is the worst choice ever for a US debut, the Girls choreo was embarrassing, Giselle was a trainwreck on that stage

Thank god they learned from that mistake and did EVERYTHING right this year. Even Giselle is glowing so much on stage now

still, i don't think bad music or choreo should cause a hate train :rip:

the same way LSRF bad vocals shouldn't have resulted in them getting harassed on social media to the point where they had to restrict comments

Choice37 uncancelled in my book, while he did that horrible song, he also gave them some good songs:

SM seemed to learn after the hate train though. We then got Spicy, Drama (which I'm meh about but w/e), Supernova, Armageddon, and now Whiplash.

They've strayed away from the blatant boygroup noise type of songs. I believe Girls hate in 2022 was a pivotal moment in their career for SM to grow some sense.

So wait I'm confused

Who is to blame for the Seunghan situation? Hybe or SM?

Who do OT7s direct their anger too and how do we get Seunghan back in RIIZE

direct your anger at HYBE for how it started, and SM for how it ended

SM is the only one that can resolve this issue though so the focus should remain on them.

Thank you for your service.

The way they kinda erased the Kwangya bullshit as well

Speaking of Kwangya, where are the ae-girls? The teasers made it seem like they were back but I guess not

No, the real karma is seeing those HYBE executives finally being at the forefront of their own demise.

Hope they manage to summon Shitman Bang too and skulldrag him at the Assembly as he deserves.

Maybe LSRF deserved the criticism but people have done too much with the obsessive way they have attacked them. Like, they didn't even let them rest between comebacks, doing too much, me thinks...

I don't think anyone learned anything. It was just the grace of God that got rid of that pest LSM and allowed other people to step up. Like their creative director who didn't have to obey LSM anymore

So....when are we getting the next aespa SM Culture Universe episode

The lore seems pretty good ever since Drama and they've still had an episode to explain it

This is the right answer.

Let's be honest, if LSM was still the head in SM, the following come backs would be full kwangya concept and probably even worst considering that he wanted them to sing about trees and water.

The CAWMAN program that created the whole Kwangya, aespa & SMCU lore is with Lee Soo Man

HYBE are truly evil, this is honestly the most evil thing from the report so far :deadbanana4:

According to the report, they allegedly tried to set Haewon up and were ready to sabotage NMIXX's rising popularity by spreading "clickbait" about Haewon being a feminist, fully aware of the misogynistic attitudes in South Korea

So is New Jeans really over just like that? Will they ever have a comeback?

It's funny because they also always shade ex 50/50 girls and defend their former company :rip:

All these reports about Hybe…yikes I'm waiting for Ive I know they're behind IVE hate train in 2022c from WY being hated for no reason, the lipsync scandal when LSRF was doing the same and Music Bank managed to shade IVE when Wonyoung was their MC at that time :deadbanana4:

I also got downvoted like crazy when I said an idol's blouse reminded me of one that Jennie wore. I don't remember the girl's name (or the group, it wasn't as widely known), but I said it with no ill intent and meant it as a compliment

for the hybe stuff right now, in the replies they all saying it's normal for a company to keep documents of negative comments of idols, okay but why are they tracking non-hybe ones too?

And I thought it was hybe making these comments, that's where twt has been confusing me. Reddit and TWT have been giving different stories on the hybe drama and I don't trust either platform to be accurate lol
