She still shines a lot and pretty sure she is the second member with the most lines. Speaking of Winter, she better have that short black wig for one stage. PLEASE! 4
Blueberry Kisses Posted October 21 Posted October 21 I liked Cherish when I watched the MV but I think the MV may have been hard-carrying (it's great) cause without it the song is meh. Aespa killed it, though. Whiplash is great and there are 2 listenable b-sides on the album which for their recent releases is pretty good. 1
Mel. Posted October 21 Posted October 21 ITZY making 0 noise even with Lia's return, I forgot they literally just came back like not even a week ago….JYP ruined them and imo "GOLD" is not bad, it's better than some of their recent releases
youresotoxic Posted October 21 Posted October 21 (edited) Cherish is great! I definitely agree the music video helps it a LOT, but still a great song nonetheless the small bridge is pretty good too Edited October 21 by youresotoxic

Hybe could have had their own BlackPink with New Jeans I mean they were MADE for that global massive success but Fat Pig Shi Hyuk and is little dick and fragile massive ego ruined it. So that's that. Illit was made to be nonthreatening to middle aged Korean men so they're not going anywhere. Lesserafim doesn't really have anyone with that firepower. I have ZERO idea what YG is doing with BabyMonster or TBL with Meovv. It's a mess. JYP can't even get his female idols to be popular in Korea anymore because he refuses to promote them individually so that's that. I think knowing a second language really helps in having more global outreach, especially depending on which markets you want to expand in. It's not for nothing that Jennie, Lisa and Rose are the ones being talked about right now. I think Natty could be big if she's pushed into the right spaces. natty nor karina know english, so they are fighting an uphill battle

Xalric Posted October 21 Posted October 21 Why does it feel like aespa eras since Girls, all the songs are from the same demo pool, writing camps. And could birth different cohesive project, but SM and the A&R shuffled it to make it incoherent. Like how does all the songs from this album sounds good but out of place at the same time. 3

I think that is a fair critic and it does lines up with all the internal trouble SM had. I think their plans changed a lot and their team had to redo many things while trying to get the material they worked on out now. That explains why we had to wait so much after Girls, got to hear songs like Thirsty, Salty and Sweet + many others on tour and why Whiplash, Drama, Kill It and Hot Mess were worked around the same time but released in different moments.
Darkling Posted October 21 Posted October 21 The hate boner you have for a group of teenagers that did absolutely nothing and were dragged into the mud by two adults with serious megalomanic tendencies it's really weird and it has to be said, specially when a few days ago we were calling out the bullying that Seunghan suffered, but I guess the bullying is valid as long as it involves someone working under HYBE Anyway I really liked aespa and ILLIT releases, congrats to all the girls 4 4

I didn't necessarily care for their first mini, but I love the second one. I think the next album could solidify whether I'll be a stan or casual fan. I feel like they'll deliver though . As usual, the main vocalist (Youngjae) and main dancer (Jihoon) has my attention the most, but I also like Shinyu's singing voice as well because his darker timbre is a nice contrast to the other members who are a little more lighter/nasal, so it gives some balance (an Anton tea). 1
