They're breaking barriers that we all thought were stuck in place for good. How did SM make lightning strike twice with the talent, visuals, work ethic, artistry, group chemistry, etc, all being PERFECT in a girl group. Edited October 16 by Sheep 5

Bewitched Posted October 16 Posted October 16 So Billlie's song sucks. Say My Name's song was cute but I am tired of these ggs trying to replicate NJ songs and these monotone instrumentals that are basically elevator music I'm so tired chile…. 1
New Edition Posted October 16 Posted October 16 Okay but legit the BlackPink girls (sans Jisoo) ARE competing with each other for sure.

I need them to flop on Spotify with this OST And don't get it twisted, SKZ are still the biggest active group in Kpop right now even if they have "six year streak of digital flops" or whatever Edited October 17 by Pluto6

They were never that big in the West, but they had a growing fanbase and the potential to build a much larger one. Last year, SM even announced plans to expand both aespa and RIIZE globally, especially in the West, positioning them as the key groups for international promotion. RIIZE has always been more popular domestically yes, and more dependent on the domestic market compared to the average boy group, which is why SM couldn't take the risk of keeping Seunghan in the group. But If SM had stuck to the original plan and kept Seunghan in the group, RIIZE could've seen huge boost globally. They might have even reached the level of ENHYPEN and TXT. A lot of people, myself included, who didn't really care for RIIZEE before, were suddenly rooting for Seunghan to come back for example. Edited October 17 by Pluto6

Not sure what that means about the other groups.
