Odette Violet Posted September 30 Posted September 30 just saw this. what do you think their concept and sounds will be? SES- fairies, y2k SNSD - girlhood, womanhood, barbie with 100 occupations f(x) - teen crush, experimental poptism Red Velvet - cutesy / sophistication with horror and murder aespa - girl crush, cyberbunk, futurism 3
starstruckaj Posted September 30 Posted September 30 (edited) iktr, they manage/promote Vanner and Sistar19 so the girlies will be in good hands and they just performed their first OT7 track, it's like MVSK on steroids Edited September 30 by starstruckaj 1

Are WakeOne dumping them? Has all the management WakeOne been arrested yet? If they're signing new contracts does this mean they're a permanent group now, not just a project group with a temporary extension?

Not sure how long the contract extension is (I'm assuming it's 2.5 years) but once it's time to renew all their companies will negotiate.

The perfect blend of girlhood, but also variety like Oh & Run Devil Run. Especially since Mid-2000's Music is gonna be the next trend next year. Their music should mix electropop and alternative rock pop. Just like Katy Perry, Rihanna, and Gaga in 2008-2010. That revival is next up. If they go with a teen girl crush concept it would flop cuz that is over saturated in kpop, and Aespa has the future outlandish concepts down. I hope they don't try to make them another Aespa clone, or try to make them edgy. I'm telling you, that 2008/2009 sound should be thier core. And since they are vocalist leaning, I say they should go a Kelly Clarkson or Rihanna direction. Edited September 30 by Gorjesspazze9 1

Save-Me-Oprah Posted September 30 Posted September 30 I can't help but think about how little money the members of these temporary project groups must take home at the end of the day with the whole extra layer of middlemen to pay Take the group's profits... Then WakeOne takes their cut Then split that amount equally for each member Take that amount and send it to each member's original agency Then original agency takes their cut of that amount ...then the member gets what's leftover. they must really count on the group being a launchpad for a bigger future career after the group because there really isn't any money in it as is huh poor Kep1er

I just hope most of this girls are adults and 18+ above, I won't be tuning in if this are children again no matter if they are talented. What I like about aespa is they're already adults when they debuted Edited September 30 by Odette Violet 1

But since Wanna One it's actually regulated. The total amount is already cut per the number of members, then MNET take 25%, the company that manage them take 25%, then their company take 25% and the idols take the last 25%. Only Jaewhan during his WANNA ONE days cracked the code, as he had no company backing him he was getting 50% for him.
