heartbreaking to see them doing this

but at the same time this is really groundbreaking, I applaud them for their integrity, especially in the kpop climate

I'm really concerned about them and how they will be able to go further as a group…

I was shocked that they had the balls. Truly unprecedented

The NJ situation just get messier and messier. It has been a hard year for them.

I wish them well but I can see things getting very difficult.

All of this reminds me when HYBE was really close to own the majority of SM and a lot of people were fine with it because HYBE was the biggest kpop company.

Oh boy, how lucky we were that didn't happen. I bet aespa would have given a weak ass come back and get shelved afterwards. :rip:

Imagine a world without aespa dropping drama/supernova/Armageddon a mess

Idk if some users here are dumb or playing to be dumb because how you can side Hybe and just talk about MHJ about the live when this girls said things that are way more alarming? Stupid people even in this forum .

important things the girls said

Hyein :  Some of you might be surprised by this sudden meeting, but we wanted to share our thoughts and opinions about the recent events, so we prepared this session. First, I want to explain one of the reasons we decided to do this live. It's been hard to see many people who have worked with us continue to suffer from unfair demands and pressure even after our CEO was dismissed. It was frustrating to just stand by and watch these situations unfold, and we were very worried about our future as a group of five. Honestly, while preparing for this live, we were naturally concerned about the reactions we might receive afterward. We were also worried that people might mistakenly think that our CEO instructed us to do this, but I want to clarify that this live was prepared because we five members genuinely wanted to express our thoughts. We received help from directors we trust for things we couldn't prepare ourselves, like setting up the shoot and finding a location. It didn't feel right for us to stay silent when everyone, including our Bunnies, has been stepping up to support us. Moreover, this is not just a matter of leaving it to the adults because it directly affects the lives of us five members. Since we're the ones going through this, we felt that it would be healthier to speak up ourselves than to do nothing, so we mustered the courage to do so. The main point of what we want to say today is directed towards HYBE. We've already had meetings with the current management to express our opinions, but after seeing what happened afterward, it feels like our concerns weren't clearly conveyed. It seemed like communication was blocked, so we felt that preparing this live was the only way to properly share our thoughts and feelings.

Minji :  I'm sure that today's announcement has shocked many of the staff as well, as they were not aware of it, and I imagine everyone watching is quite surprised too. We've thought a lot about where to begin, but since the purpose is to express our intentions, we'll try to explain as clearly as possible. Of course, due to contractual issues, we can't share everything, but we'll be as honest as we can. After it was decided that we would debut as NewJeans, our members spent a lot of time getting to know Min Heejin Daepyonim, both as a group and individually. At first, I had reservations and a certain fear towards the adults we were working with, but Daepyonim was the first person to approach us in a way that allowed us to open up, which was initially awkward but eventually built trust. From before our debut until now, we've been aware of various issues related to our debut schedule and other matters. However, working with Daepyonim made us feel good, and I believe that's why we were able to debut successfully and continue our activities until now. This has been today's news story

Haerin : However, even after our debut, there have been many unfair and incomprehensible incidents that you might not know about, and these incidents have only increased over time. As some of you may know, recently, videos from our trainee days and private records, such as medical information, were leaked. When I first saw that, I was really shocked. It was hard to understand how our company, which is supposed to protect us, failed to manage and allowed such information to be leaked. Naturally, this situation has made us worry that other strange or false information about us might spread in the future. Although we, along with our parents and Min Heejin Daepyonim, have raised concerns about this to HYBE, they haven't resolved the issue, nor have they taken any proactive measures. Then, in the midst of all this, our CEO was dismissed, and we're left wondering whom we can trust and rely on. We've come to the conclusion that if we don't speak out about this now, no one will know what we're going through. After much discussion among ourselves, we finally decided to take this step.

Better just read everything. if you side with Hybe after this just say it and you are going straight to ignore list and as a trash person

When the Fifty Fifty girls tried to run away with their producers and illegally extract themselves from their incompetent corporate overlords, fandoms of groups who were getting blocked by their meme song gleefully participated in making sure the boot of the law never left their necks despite the efforts of international liberators and their media campaigns to free them.

And now the shoe is on the other neck.

And for the personality, which is the funniest comments, because most of the personality back then we're characters completely invented by the company of the idols, they were literally reading scripts, which is funny because nowadays there are more real people, but OG stans fans find them boring because more tone down/natural compared to back in the day.

If by scripts u mean like the late night interviews in America maybe but still the personality is there... Cause idk about your faves but the idols i followed are still acting the same a decade later. Are u gonna tell me that Min wasnt herself? Or Nana and lizzy? And i mentioning 3 idols that their personality got them a lot of hate.

Even Guyri who was indeed playing a persona it was still part of her original Humour and it was obvious she was playing a character.

As for the other comment. Leserafim is fine for the group they are. They are a dance group and they dont have vocal heavy songs. Even if they do their 2 vocalists are more than capable to carry the song. If we have Hyolin singing 95% of Sistar songs and AS having half the members murmuring a line and yet loving the concept, the song and the group i dont know why all of a sudden groups like LSRF are a problem...

And lets be honest as if the haters really care for the vocal abilities of LSRF.

i wouldnt change any of the members of AS, 9MUSES (The good line up), T-ARA etc etc for better vocalists. As i said each member brings sth and u see this when u stan a group cause if u dont stan it why u even care? I dont stan G-idle, i dont even know how the members look like aside from soyeon. I bop to some of their songs and if u ask me they could change anyone except from soyeon and maybe miyeon and i wouldnt notice but do u see me investing time on spamming my irelevant opinion over and over again like these netizens? No, i dont stan them i dont care, if they release a cute song, nice i will give it a few listens and i will move on cause there are so many groups i can listen to- AND THATS THE PROBLEM WITH NETIZENS, ESPECIALLY THE NEW GEN

I think both Hybe and MHJ are bad but the girls getting involved before this of course led to some of the "mistreatment" the way they are still defending MHJ even after she trashed them, downplayed sexual assault, slandered and attacked Hybe artists.

I dont care about Hybe but I also dont care about them when they are supporting such a trashy person.

Its no surprise that this forum would support MHJ who is a trashy person.

Nana said it herself the whole time she was in AS she had script for everything, she even exposed Roommates for being fake and a glorified drama. Reina and Kahi also revealed that most of their TV appearances were script and we're not their real personalities. Reina even said AS we're supposed to be the super girl group so they were ordered to tell all the other groups were less than them, which explains more than 70% of Lizzy's scandal and why she got hated.

Min's case is different JYP tried to fire her ass at least 18 time after Miss A debut.

9MUSES I just tell you to look up to Sera's YouTube channel and you'll see how the good line up doesn't even like each other.

T-Ara never forget that their biggest scandal happened not because of the girls but because the company pushed it in the forefront while KKS was being investigated for embezzlement. And Hyomin said later that a small arguments was turned into bigger things, because no one was their corners and best interest of the group.

I think Hanni was wrong for mentioning that anecdote, she knows the industry and she knows people use any reason to attack other ggs, despite the group greeting her. Both illit and lesserafim to more hate bc no one is thinking it's those bgs.  Also, with the way they and their parents are using regular interactions as ammo in their fight, it wouldn't surprise me if the other groups and managers have instructions to avoid them so they don't get caught up.

Im shocked people think managers of other groups would want to interact with NJ.. like a group thats defending MHJ who was trashing and causing many groups from that company to get hate its not really a surprise. Thats why NJ should have not got involved in defending MHJ publicy.
