Antisocialites Posted September 11 Posted September 11 can't believe the most acclaimed k-pop group of all time is going through this
TheCal Posted September 11 Posted September 11 seems like they finally got the password to the NewJeans twitter as well, the tweet has been deleted. I'm scared for the girls, the higher ups are gonna be very angry and nasty. I hope they're somewhere safe.
Nido Posted September 11 Posted September 11 Not the girls risking their career for what's right. Wake up KOREA!!! HYBE must have a lot of fate in that knockoff of a group if they think they can succeed in the long run while disregarding their real moneymaker

I'm not dismissing that. No one deserves that in their work environment and HYBE has clearly started a cruel and unfair campaign against them. But they also talked very fondly about MHJ which is what I was referring to in my post. 2
Nein Posted September 11 Posted September 11 I seriously hope NewJeans come out unscathed. The treatment towards them is unacceptable. and to the little 7s I wish nothing but negativity to them. 1
Adama Posted September 11 Posted September 11 (edited) 9 minutes ago, Nido said: Shelving NJ would be a dumb ass move considering how much money they've made for the company and how this whole controversy has and will affect their brand partnerships It happened multiples times in the past with SM and it did nothing to them so atp they should just try to find a way to leave. It's clearly not working, no one is happy and HYBE will not take MHJ back, which is also understandable after these past months. Edited September 11 by Adama
Hazy Posted September 11 Posted September 11 heartbreaking to see them doing this but at the same time this is really groundbreaking, I applaud them for their integrity, especially in the kpop climate I'm really concerned about them and how they will be able to go further as a group…

Luckitty Posted September 11 Posted September 11 i will never understand why armies love sucking hybe and bang sihyuk's dicks so much people who stan companies are so ******* weird 1
rapperjennie Posted September 11 Posted September 11 The way these BTS stans only argument revolves around how MHJ brainwashed them Maybe...just maybe she's the only adult in that company that actually gives a **** about them? That pig bang sihyuk wants them gone, the hybe managers are actively ignoring them and that new ador ceo clearly was assigned there to shelve them 1 1

Nido Posted September 11 Posted September 11 Hanni being Viet means she wasn't gonna take no oppression. The voice of the group for a reason We need industry people to speak up and protect these girls as well. The GP support is already there but the industry people needs to stop playing nice and rally for them too 5

She literally said she was busy and was prioritizing NJ but still made time to be CD of his album and yet their fans kept acting like she's the group's sworn enemy 2

Cyanide Posted September 11 Posted September 11 (edited) This is so ****** up. I'm boycotting all HYBE artists until they stop this. Danielle is literally the sweetest angel ever, WHAT did the girls do to deserve this? something interesting finally happens in popular culture and k-pop that resonates GLOBALLY and the disgusting corporate pigs want to erase what they've achieved because their basic blow up dolls aren't doing it? **** them Edited September 11 by Cyanide
Cheers Posted September 11 Posted September 11 It's so weird to see HYBE not give a phuck about losing NewJeans considering how popular they are. Like this company is so blatant with their favoritism they don't care if you're successful or not. If they don't like you, they don't like you
Rhythm Posted September 11 Posted September 11 9 minutes ago, Nido said: We need industry people to speak up and protect these girls as well. The GP support is already there but the industry people needs to stop playing nice and rally for them too Unfortunately, this is all unfolding at too much of an inopportune time where HYBE has an infallible influence on the domestic music market and almost completely monopolizes the global k-pop scene. I feel like, from a moral standpoint, pretty much everyone can see that NewJeans will the only collateral damage as a result of this conflict, and undeservedly so, but logically very few will be willing to move against a conglomerate like HYBE in favor of a still-relatively 'rookie' group. I just wished it'd come at a time where NJ were more seasoned in the industry and could have stronger agency over their brand, with stronger resources to fight on their behalf. 1
