I think there's a general decline on Spotify for most kpop groups this year except for a few.

 

LE SSERAFIM, aespa, Stray Kids, NewJeans and BABYMONSTER are the only kpop groups who have debuted new songs on Spotify Global in the past 6 months

Yeah, top-tier ggs like IVE and (G)I-DLE, for instance, haven't charted even a single day on Spotify Global this year, which is surprising given how well they used to perform on the platform.

 

I feel like K-pop as a whole is shifting towards a "soloist era," with members from BP and BTS consistently releasing solo tracks that outperform most group comebacks. At the moment, the only K-pop groups I see still going strong globally without having peaked yet are SKZ, aespa, and LE SSERAFIM. I would've included NewJeans, but unfortunately, their future as a group seems kinda uncertain right now 

TWICE legends also still have their insane touring numbers at least, and they will stay stable for a while as well

that guy who worked for BTS being mad and feeling disrespected because the girls weren't portraying and conveying the lyrics of Antifragile through their group/individual performances.  

the producers not telling young girls there's going to be a survival show out of this training program but getting mad at having private instagrams and posting stuff.

What is this BOP by Queen Sooyoung?? It's the perfect mix of 2012 and 2024 wtf!

 

I always knew her potential, especially when other girls (that DO NOT GET IT) were underscoring her vocals.

 

She has always demonstrated top-notch quality in dance, visuals and vocals, but prejudiced SM never gave her a chance (besides some Japanese singles, because she was actually the best Japanese speaker in SNSD). I'm so proud of her!!
