The amount of gaslighting this boy gets from Bang Si Hyuk is too much.

They invented music. Have you listened to Tate McRae's its ok im ok? Jay was the star of the Prada show. Handsome but Wendys brought back their Vanilla frosty for $1. Hmmm. Idk about this sis Edited September 21 by Darkling

Xalric Posted September 21 Posted September 21 The Yoo Ah In story is too much for me to handle. So all this just because he was caught with his boyfriend, and mind you it's not a victim who called the police but a third party and they used CCTV footage and all... All this to say he was a rapist and a druggy, when there is no victim, and he wasn't under the influence. And now he's been publicly outed as gay.

Windy Day Posted September 21 Posted September 21 just a thought i just had... since min heejin was CEO of adore and is the one who created newjeans and has general producer credits on their work, wouldn't that mean that she also has copyrights on it since it's her own idea and intellectual property? so in case of newjeans leaving adore and hybe as a whole, they would still be able to use their stage name and be active as "newjeans" just like how the loona members who are under modhaus are able to keep their stage names and kim lip, jinsoul and choerry even promoted as "odd eye circle" despite leaving bbc because jaden jeong created them back then? it's not like it's a situation of the girls leaving adore to go to a completely unrelated team who has 0 rights on them
Zack Posted September 21 Posted September 21 16 hours ago, BTS said: I know that, but for the average Kpop fan the lack of a Korean member is a barrier. Just look at XG. They suffer the same issues. You have to acknowledge that xenophobia is an issue in kpop fandoms. There's a nuance between whether someone can be considered K-Pop and whether someone is "likeable" to Korean audiences. You are mixing up two different questions there. BLACKSWAN is a K-Pop group in every sense. Any argument against that would basically mean we would have to question any non-Korean idol on whether they can be K-Pop or not and we know that is not logical. Whether they are likeable for Korean audiences is separate to whether they are a K-Pop group. XG is a different case because despite promoting in Korea and working with Korean producers, they don't market themselves as "K-Pop", don't release Korean music (as far as I know) and even their company CEO said they are not K-Pop or trying to be.

To use a loaded term, kpop paved a way where people all over the world would discover music acts that would become a part of their lives. XG put on kpop face so they could get access to this global promotional highway. They can believe they are not kpop (and when Max Matsura was running things, that was hilariously true), but they were definitely trying to gain access to what kpop has as it was something jpop never developed, mostly due to their absolute music licensing practices.
Supervillain Posted September 21 Posted September 21 How is this a mini album with 10 tracks? I'm severely confused
