Just like they accepted Burberry which didn't last one year and now they switched to Celine . It's definitely not the definition of a long lasting relationship lol Now you are just being dense for no reason. 1st those are individual cfs, not group cfs when the discussion was about the brand Newjeans and its perception. 2nd they already have a contract with Dior, Chanel, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, and have 5 members and Burberry and Celine are also considered top luxury brands.

That's why I put a group cfs and and individual cfs as exemples. If tomorrow the Nike deal end, I promise you they will have no problem going for Adidas or New balance or another sport brand who's willing to gives them a big check. Just like they accepted to work with TOMMY first. They aren't different than LSRFM or any big 4 labels regarding that aspect.
Xalric Posted March 22 Posted March 22 It's kinda true. Min Hee Jin kinda lied through her teeth when she said she was looking for a long lasting relationship. She should have stopped at going for brand that have the same vision and aesthetic than New Jeans which is true so far, all their cf and brand deal were cohesive and somehow on brand with the group and individual members.
Dialamba Posted March 22 Posted March 22 1 hour ago, geniecantstophypeboy said: I didn't mention cfs, it was more about where their priorities and their goals are respectively when it comes to promotion and marketing. Since you mention it, that also doesn't appear to be the case. Media that have reported on Newjeans point it out. For example: https://www.businessoffashion.com/articles/global-markets/newsjeans-kpop-launch-bof-500-class-of-2023-cover-stars-fashion-industry-models-and-muses/ (if you can't read the article https://archive.is/OK8WI ) "The key is that the brand has to be top tier in its sector or category. "So that's McDonalds not Burger King, it's Nike not Adidas,” Suh added. "No matter how much you can pay, if your company is not the top and will hurt the brand reputation, Min Hee-jin shall reject it.” Everyone knows NJ as a group is huge, but they have no individual appeal. Celine is dumb for letting Lisa go anyway.

lily42 Posted March 22 Posted March 22 (edited) NewJeans has 22 CFs as a group and around 9 individual CFs (mainly luxury brands). They renewed contracts with almost all the brands they signed in 2022, including SK Telecom, Shinhan Bank, Nike, Carin Eyewear, Stonehenge Jewelry, Olens, etc. All members (except Danielle) renewed with their representative fashion houses as well: Chanel, Dior, Gucci, LV. Statistically, how does any of that tell you that ADOR wants quick cash and not a long-lasting relationship? The label wants a long-lasting relationship that will not be disadvantageous to the members or group and the newsflash, that includes advertisement fee as well. NewJeans popularity has grown massively from debut until now. As popularity grows, so does their price tag. CFs/brand deals are not romantic relationships, but business partnerships where both sides need to benefit. If a brand can not match the price tag, they leave and find someone else. If ADOR thinks that the brand does not benefit the group/member, they leave and take up the better offer from another top brand. Danielle fulfilled the contract with Burberry, but it was discontinued because ADOR was not satisfied with it. It is also no secret that Burberry is in a financial crisis right now. The fact that ADOR accepts top brands in their own category while making sure that the price is up there is not the gotcha moment you think it is. It is not mutually exclusive either: yes, they care about the fact that the brand is top, and yes, they care about that the brand is able to pay a set advertisement fee. Which part of this genuinely bothers yall? I think it's the fact that NewJeans bags all these CFs and fashion deals both as a group and as solo. But there is nothing y'all can do but stay pressed. It's the most natural state of their haters NewJeans was never with Tommy or even sponsored by them. Where did this even come from? They are/were with Levi's. Not sure if the deal is over, but they were announced as Calvin Klein models which is equally top brand. Actually, even bigger, so this is upgrade. NJ would not switch from Nike to New Balance because Nike is already top brand in their category. I hope y'all get the logic. Can't wait for all these brand deals to fund 5 more stunning MVs for upcoming album. P.S. congrats Danielle for bagging Celine. Poor haters can't even discredit her with bullshit excuses like "The brand did not post her on SNS". Sad, I know Edited March 22 by lily42 4

Sad, I know Lmfao no one is bothered by them getting cfs ? But that narrative that their cfs are more unconventional than a group like LSRFM or any other GG and that Ador main goal is them being more focused on building a long term relationship were already proved wrong. Money will always come first. If tomorrow Adidas offers them a bigger contract than Nike they will switch with no problems. I made a mistake, I confused Tommy with Levi's but my point is still the same. Otherwise why would they go for CK when Levi's invested in them?
