Yeah IMO YG's image doesn't match a large gg. The 7 members+ really best for SNSD/Apink/TWICE type of groups. It just does not go with the image.

Britney objectively has twice the vocal range of J. Lo and can actually sustain a note and hit a head voice, which doesn't exist for J. Lo. J. Lo had someone else sing for her until 2007 because she was not a singer and only got a career because Tommy Mottola wanted to payola her to sabotage his ex-wife's career (Mariah Carey). These are all well-documented facts and it caused the biggest payola probe of the century so far.  

 

Your problem is you constantly tell us that you don't know anything about vocals, music or K-pop, and then you get mad at getting clocked for saying the most out-of-pocket things.

This flat out lie  Let's not pretend that JLo didn't sing her songs just because she had a background singers layered under her voice during chorus parts, with some songs maybe being duets at best such as "Play". Your fave Britney is literally on the same boat, so let's not even go there.

What does aespa and SKZ even have to do with anything here? You always bring up SKZ randomly, and it's getting a bit repetitive 

 

I've also noticed that you're constantly trying to spark some kind of fanwar between aespa and SKZ for no reason. You keep randomly insisting that aespa is somehow bigger than SKZ, which just feels like you're trying to rage bait.

 

Claiming that aespa is "currently destroying SKZ on streaming" is pretty wild when, in reality, SKZ has more than double the streams of aespa in 2024. If you look at overall numbers and daily streams, there's really no competition. SKZ just surpassed TWICE on Spotify, making them the 3rd most-streamed K-pop act of all time, behind only BTS and BLACKPINK.

 

You're right that aespa does better on the domestic charts, but that's like pointing out how SKZ are doing better than aespa in album sales. Ggs typically perform better on Korean charts, while bgs tend to sell more albums.

 

It's clear you're trying to downplay SKZ's achievements and career, but it's not working

Notice how Feel Special isn't on the list Like I wasn't joking or "trolling" when I said that it wasn't even among their top 30 songs  

 

 

I can understand your personal taste, but Feel Special is objectively one of their most well-made songs with a great balance in production, arrangement, tension-release-and-pull, lyrical resonance, concept/sentiment, each member getting to shine in their own way etc. It's quite fantastic.
