Twice had a great song/mv and I loved Meg serving Missy for a bit there.

 

but. i'm really over them getting these swaggy rap inspired songs, they are not a SM group. the girls are charismatic enough to make it work, but it's so clear that this style is not natural for the majority of them. this mv is literally giving nugu, Twice should have something more mature and personal to them by now. it's weird that they snubbed Nayeon since she can do this concept better than most of the others  and ofc Jihyo and Momo ate it up as they always do.

i really wanted to love the new twice song with the response it got in this thread but it's.. underwhelming?

it has all the ingredients to be a hit but it just goes nowhere.. the chorus is lackluster

I noticed that Nayeoncé's presence in this comeback was lower than usual, she had fewer lines, less screen time, and wasn't in the center as much, which was surprising. That said, I'm happy that every member had their chance to shine this era. Momoriah and Chaeyoung, my biases, really stood out the most this time
