K-Pop Thread: Seunghan to Make Solo Debut in late 2025

On September 13, HYBE stated, "The shareholder agreement between HYBE and former CEO Min Hee Jin has already been terminated. Once the agreement is terminated, its legal effect is void. A lawsuit has been filed to confirm the termination of the shareholder agreement, and we are awaiting the court's decision."

HYBE further noted, "The decision to dismiss Min Hee Jin as CEO was made independently by ADOR's board of directors as part of a business management decision. It is unrelated to HYBE or the shareholder agreement."

The agency added, "We regret that Min Hee Jin, who has long emphasized the importance of ADOR's independent management as a separate entity, is not respecting ADOR's board of directors' decision."

Earlier today, Min Hee Jin filed an injuction to seek reappointment as both inside director and CEO of ADOR. Her team argues that the dismissal violated the shareholder agreement that guarantees her a five-year term in both roles, which they claim is still in effect.

They can't be serious... This is not only does she accidentally reveal the NJ members lied about no one knowing about the livestream, but then MHJ and her team say themselves that "they explained that there could be risks, including violations of their exclusive contracts and the possibility of misunderstandings so they advised against it." So that means that even they recognize that Hybe might have grounds to sue the NJ members for breach of contract. And then they're saying that Hybe are the ones deleting the articles... I mean, no official Hybe correspondence has said MHJ put them up to it. It's probably MHJ's legal taking everything down because she accidentally confirms that the NJ members may have knowingly acted against their contracts.

I saw some of y'all trying to come for BTS' looks, while I agree that 5/7 of the BTS members are average looking especially the rap line, but let's not act like V and Jungkook aren't some of the most attractive male idols :clack:

Doesn't NJ say in the beggining of the live that they got the help of directors they trust to prepare the space and filming set up, so it's not like they said nobody knew about the livestream. Anyways I don't really remember the video and maybe I understood wrong from the translations so please correct me if I'm wrong (and I can't read the full tweet).

wait who are these girls and why is this an instant, maximalistic classic with a perfect chorus melody and an euphoric chorus > post-chorus > chorus structure:jonny5:

Oh baby you need to get into their discography (which isn't a lot tbh)

Going to the Oh My Girl rabbit hole and knowing that Closer demo was actually called Closer to Jesus (yes it was a Praising Jesus Pop Song), Remember Me demo was a ballad & YooA YooA (Liar Liar) was a rap song. Like the company had really a good hear for demos.

But I want them to do a Remember Me (Ballad Version) live at least once cause I know it would EAT.

I mean from their MAMA intro alone, I know it's good

Not too sound like one of Singsing akgaes but it's baffling how she's the only member who almost have no presence in their own social medias accounts.

The fact she recently just have that massive Versace global campaign but not even a single repost :rip:

No wonder her cbars is rioting, SM with their xenophobia

now go and have a bts live performances marathon while you're at it

No need to get so defensive over performing skills.

Lisa still had one of the worst performances of the night and no amount of deflecting to BTS will change that, I fear.

How did they lie....? They wanted to hold a public conference but were advised against it. So without telling others they decided to make a new youtube channel and do a livestream.

There obviously was someone who helped them set up the stream (there was someone who removed the cover from the camera at the beginning, and clearly neither of the girls turned off the stream themself..) Just because they had some person to assist them, doesn't make them liars.:coffee2:

Do these girls even read the news?

we cheered

If some pissant outfit like Attrakt is able to litigate Warner into indifference, do they really think they can accomplish anything against Bighybe?  I'd joke about the Saudis being behind all of this, but at this point they're their only hope!

C'mon now, this whole thing has MHJ written all over it. NJ goes live and says they're afraid of being bullied - while unnecessarily throwing another girl group under the bus - and demands their former CEO be reinstated > HYBE rejects their request without even waiting for the deadline > MHJ tries to re-elected CEO by filing a lawsuit this time. Please don't tell me you think this is all a coincidence. I think you're smarter than that. I knew that livestream wasn't random. Those girls were literally reading from notebooks and iPads. I wish she'd leave them out of her BS. What a damn mess.

honestly what they're doing is different from the the traditional shtick that every idol group sticks to on music shows

most groups ignore the in-studio audience and perform directly for the cameras, strictly sticking to their choreo and the studio track, but here they're interacting with the audience, hyping them up and doing ad-libbed bits to add interest

good for them. maybe this is the start of music show performances returning to actually look like live performance again instead of just sterile extensions of the music video

They never said girl or boygroup. They didn't even say it was the group who caused the issue, the manager was the problematic individual. HYBE themselves were the one who threw ILLIT to the wolves. :deadbanana: Also you just said MHJ accidentally exposed NewJeans, but if she advised them not to do it for their own good....then its not all planned.

I think you need to get over MHJ and empathize with NewJeans themselves.
