I would mix a bit quirky/experimental production like ASAP but more complete/full product and it would make really nice cohesive album like Get Up was. It would be dream come true If they do these genres one day. It is kinda over. I don't think she can win it. She will be basically out on May 31st. HYBE will purchase her shares for dirt cheap once they officially dismiss her (that was their goal to began with). She will sue for unfair dismissal, etc but that will just drain her finances. NJ album that was planned for 2nd half of the year will be scrapped once she is out. I'm sure HYBE will make something in rush to proceed with their world tour and get money. Time to pack it up. I have no interest in what HYBE is doing with their groups or the direction they are taking Kpop toward, they are really the fast fashion of Kpop. I'll be back in a few years when LSM and MHJ found a new label together, I guess.

Bunnies need to do a campaign to 250 to become their A&R. @Rhyme Many of these music genres are new to me but I can objectively say I'm not a fan of shoegaze I'm listening to the genres mentioned and I liked most of them. 1

Cyanide Posted May 12 Posted May 12 Do we think that if MHJ is ousted she will be able to at least work with the girls on creative? There's no way they can just cut her out of her own creation like that, it's insane

But we also have people like YHS who managed to remain despite all the crimes he commited.
Panda17 Posted May 12 Posted May 12 I was curious to see how well Magnetic is doing on Spotify compared with Newjeans releases and... Let's see if their team can replicate it. 48 days after its release: 14. Super Shy - 2,947,427 16. OMG - 2,963,850 21. Ditto - 2,821,264 31. Magnetic - 2,745,822 146. They hate her guts. MHJ also disagreed with LSM in SM, but they maintained good relationship because there was mutual respect and they could co-exist. BSH is just bitter and did not talk to her after their fight over NewJeans debut What's even worse is that NJ's current creative director Yemin Kim will also have to leave as she is a member of board and her close friend. They will probably replace them with creatives from other labels. Edited May 12 by lily42

That's BSH entire philosophy anyhow. "Be famous for being famous". The big difference is that, when you do viral marketing to the extent BSH does it, you can only really focus on one song at a time, whereas NJ would chart their entire album organically, every time.
Vrx. Posted May 12 Posted May 12 What's going on with HYBE vs MHJ now there hasn't been any development recently
geniecantstophypeboy Posted May 12 Posted May 12 (edited) All songs from NJ Get Up album entered the hot 100 or the bubbling under hot 100 iirc. NJ1 or their 1st album would likely have had all songs enter the hot 100. The only other Kpop group to chart all their songs at once was BTS. Edited May 12 by geniecantstophypeboy
