Illuminati Posted December 30, 2023 Posted December 30, 2023 Speak (Now Taylor's Version) has a better ring to it anyway, so yes 1 4
Vixen Eyes Posted December 30, 2023 Posted December 30, 2023 is it that big of a deal? i mean so did kesha up until High Road Animal Cannibal Warrior Rainbow High Road Gag Order
suburbannature Posted December 30, 2023 Posted December 30, 2023 But to seriously answer your question, yes, it feels so clean. my fave did the same for most of her albums pre-Emancipation.
poki Posted December 30, 2023 Posted December 30, 2023 It's the Mariah print. Mariah Emotions Music Box (notice how Music Box / Speak Now have the same character count per word and its their 3rd album for both) Daydream Butterfly Rainbow Charmbracelet But then she ruined it with those awful Quote Red [Deluxe Edition] (Taylors Version) (+A Message From Taylor) TV titles. It's so ugly. 1
Escape Posted December 30, 2023 Posted December 30, 2023 Maybe Taylor is the real american Björk after all.

Hobbes Posted December 30, 2023 Posted December 30, 2023 I noticed this! Also all of her lead singles have the letter 'o' in the title! 1

Peroxide Posted December 31, 2023 Posted December 31, 2023 (edited) Easy to remember for sure, and it’s worked well for her… Whilst I think she’s great at developing “themes”, some of her album titles are a little… uninspired; and I say that as a diehard fan. Fearless, 1989, Lover, Evermore (as titles) are all a little flavourless for me. Speak Now, Folklore and Midnights were brilliant album names. Red is strikingly simple but her reasoning behind it works really well. Her best title by far is Reputation. Edited December 31, 2023 by Peroxide 1
Maroonx Posted December 31, 2023 Posted December 31, 2023 I still remember Fiona Apple's album title "When the Pawn Hits the Conflicts He Thinks Like a King What He Knows Throws the Blows When He Goes to the Fight and He'll Win the Whole Thing 'Fore He Enters the Ring There's No Body to Batter When Your Mind Is Your Might So When You Go Solo, You Hold Your Own Hand and Remember That Depth Is the Greatest of Heights and If You Know Where You Stand, Then You Know Where to Land and If You Fall It Won't Matter, Cuz You'll Know That You're Right."
