I love taylor’s albums Speaknow and TaylorSwift

:santa:

Speak Now was meant to be called Enchanted before label intervened. And well, debut is a mixtape - it doesn't count for this list, nor does it count for her album rankings, so when we comfortably say that Reputation is her worst album we don't consider debut in that conversation

Baby self titled is too long to be considered a mixtape

But to seriously answer your question, yes, it feels so clean.

my fave did the same for most of her albums pre-Emancipation.

It's the Mariah print.

Mariah

Emotions

Music Box (notice how Music Box / Speak Now have the same character count per word and its their 3rd album for both)

Daydream

Butterfly

Rainbow

Charmbracelet

But then she ruined it with those awful

You saying they’re all one word then naming several that aren’t :rip:

:bibliahh:

OT: ok, but besides the 2 that are mentioned, i never noticed it until now. personally i don't think it matters anyway (even Taylor's Version became a popular thing), she's just good at picking album titles that matches the eras vibes. she's good with words.

I noticed this! Also all of her lead singles have the letter 'o' in the title!

There's no length limit for mixtapes. Maybe you're thinking an EP?

Easy to remember for sure, and it’s worked well for her…

Whilst I think she’s great at developing “themes”, some of her album titles are a little… uninspired; and I say that as a diehard fan.

Fearless, 1989, Lover, Evermore (as titles) are all a little flavourless for me.

Speak Now, Folklore and Midnights were brilliant album names. Red is strikingly simple but her reasoning behind it works really well.

Her best title by far is Reputation.

1989 is a number.

I still remember Fiona Apple's album title "When the Pawn Hits the Conflicts He Thinks Like a King What He Knows Throws the Blows When He Goes to the Fight and He'll Win the Whole Thing 'Fore He Enters the Ring There's No Body to Batter When Your Mind Is Your Might So When You Go Solo, You Hold Your Own Hand and Remember That Depth Is the Greatest of Heights and If You Know Where You Stand, Then You Know Where to Land and If You Fall It Won't Matter, Cuz You'll Know That You're Right."
