Updated title and original OP from when Colorado Supreme Court first took him off ballot citing insurrection clause. Now SCOTUS has ruled so I’ve bumped the original thread for context. I included that post so there wouldn’t be duplicate threads.

This decision was expected. But it really does open the door for anyone to run for president. As long as congress won’t stop them they can. 🤷

Obvious outcome and it's crazy that people actually thought the SC would meddle in a presidential election like this :rip:

 

As for the immunity case that the SC just agreed to look at, I don't think that will go in Trump's favor for similar slippery slope reasons.
