It was the most anticipated movie of the year, its marketing was crazy as hell, however, none of its lines became iconic. 

 

Is it early to say that the movie failed to have impact on our culture?

Quotable movies like Heathers and Mean Girls were ahead of the curve when they came out and pushed the culture. Barbie felt about a decade behind the times, and didn’t say anything new.

Gosh was the movie disappointing, tbh I don't trust people who derived profound meaning/enjoyment from such a barebones/corny plot and set of characters, but maybe I'm wrong...

Lots of iconic movies don't have quotable lines. The issue with Barbie is that it did not live up to its hype.
