A Million Lights Posted December 17, 2023 Posted December 17, 2023 (edited) Their biggest hit… which one is the more iconic Edited December 17, 2023 by A Million Lights
honestopinion Posted December 17, 2023 Posted December 17, 2023 Baby one time was playing everywhere for years, i was like 1 year old when it was released and i remember it still being a moment when i was 8 years old and wrote a story in my music class that Britney is my favourite singer because everytime i watched tv this videoclip was playing lol. It was so big, everyone knows this song. Meanwhile i barely know blank space song and can't remember the lyrics outside of blank space baby and im Taylor's fan but she has better albums so I'm listening to them and locals out here probably never heard it cause i never heard anyone mentioning, playing or signing this song 1
Delirious Posted December 17, 2023 Posted December 17, 2023 baby is pop culture music landscape changing so that one 3
She-Rah Posted December 17, 2023 Posted December 17, 2023 I've never heard Blank Space while out in public or much less, forcibly. BOMT is a bonafide classique.
Abracadabra Posted December 17, 2023 Posted December 17, 2023 There’s few songs besides Happy Birthday and Jingle Bells that would win up against BOMT 14 2 2 4
Popboi. Posted December 17, 2023 Posted December 17, 2023 I mean, the OP is asking two different things. Most iconic is BOMT. Bigger is Blank Space. 2 3 3
wastedpotential Posted December 17, 2023 Posted December 17, 2023 BOMT is far more iconic, but Blank Space is far more commercially successful as a single. 1
znake Posted December 17, 2023 Posted December 17, 2023 Off course it is baby one more time, respect Britney 2

Very different climates. Or are you telling me bs pushed 30M units of 1989? OT: this is insulting. It’s like comparing Whenever Wherever to a bad bunny song 5 2
FightDragonsWithMe Posted December 17, 2023 Posted December 17, 2023 Blank Space because I live in the now and not 30 years ago. 3 1 14

jakeisphat Posted December 17, 2023 Posted December 17, 2023 Neither, birthday is the clear winner 1 1
BGKC Posted December 17, 2023 Posted December 17, 2023 BOMT gets played a lot whenever I go out in all kinds of settings even after so many years. It’s like a 90s staple. Blank Space doesn’t have the same kind longevity (maybe more competition at the time, pop wise), though it may have been bigger by the numbers.
naval23 Posted December 17, 2023 Posted December 17, 2023 The one that broke a Guiness World Record for going #1 in every country it charted in 3 2
Dan81 Posted December 17, 2023 Posted December 17, 2023 Baby one more time is bigger and more iconic Blank space is boring 5
Ron Ng Posted December 17, 2023 Posted December 17, 2023 BOMT is obviously bigger, it was played everywhere on earth and if you ask a stranger on street, they will say BOMT. BS is a huge hit but it's not as iconic and remembered as BOMT. Though quality-wise, BS is a very much better song 1
AMIT Posted December 17, 2023 Posted December 17, 2023 ....Baby One More Time, sweetie, I am so sorry 3
TouchinFree Posted December 17, 2023 Posted December 17, 2023 (edited) The iconic, remembered one. The one that's actually GOOD. The one with the iconic video. Edited December 17, 2023 by TouchinFree
Punky Rooster Posted December 17, 2023 Posted December 17, 2023 …Baby. i don’t think I’ve heard blank space all the way through.
cuteboyzay Posted December 17, 2023 Posted December 17, 2023 (edited) Blank Space is iconic for Taylor’s career. But BABY ONE MORE TIME is iconic for not only Britney but for the World/Music Industry as a WHOLE. Chile, she started an entire new wave of not only Pop, but persona, fashion, and performance for the pop world. It literally wrapped the entire world in between its fingers. And it’s influence is literally still felt today. Love Taylor, but Britney completely obliterates with this one. Edited December 17, 2023 by cuteboyzay 4 1 1
