A fast food burger is a month’s worth of rent so I get it. How can I make it seem like the waiter was the one who ordered my food so I can escape out the kitchen unseen?

You could try this

Well I mean that figure wouldn't be shocking would it? Gen Z has kinda been living in a much scarier time than the two previous generations have. The earliest memories a lot of Gen Z kids have is either 9/11 or one of the immediate fall outs of it. They're living through a gun violence epidemic--especially in their schools. They're living through a period of social collapse which yes happens about once a generation except now every second and every last detail of it is being paraded in front of them on social media. The world has been a disaster the last twenty years and that's kinda all Gen Z knows.

Oh, please. Generations before went through world wars, the Great Depression, presidential assassinations, drafts, worked in mines as children, and started families at 18, etc. The oldest Zoomer was 4 when 9/11 happened, and 2 when school shootings began. This current generation is coddled. That’s the problem. Arrested development. Zoomers are sitting around agreeing with the likes of Osama bin Laden. They have next to no experience with real atrocities.

I will never understand those who’re so insistent upon hating younger generations that they refuse to acknowledge the realities that that generation faces.

You’re right, other generations had war and disease and depression…just like this one does. Millennials and Gen X—the two generations who hate Gen Z more than anything—didn’t, though.

They lived through one of the most prosperous, progressive, peaceful eras of the world’s history where for the first time that century things seemed to be looking up. Gen Z has never lived in a world that had that point of view.

Gen Z isn’t coddled for simply having more tolerance for and understanding of the emotional effects of living through such times wreak. Their empathy is not a hinderance, but previous generations lack of it is.

They’re living in the world the generations before them ruined, and they’re doing a pretty damn good job of coping at that. God forbid they be anxious.

Just the shut the **** up, everyone’s so tired of these boomer right wing “this generation sucks” takes.

It's written like those scaremongering articles about how millennials were destroying the society, I can never take these "the current generation is the worst one we've ever had" articles with headlines aimed to scare facebook moms seriously :monkey:

dumb clickbait that y'all fell for. like the article says, every generation reports this feeling. young adults usually have less confidence, but that is the case in every generation. being a teenager is awkward af for most people, boomers and gen x were exactly the same and the previous generations probably called them soft and lazy.

also, older people have been dining out for longer so they know more foods and what they like, which naturally helps them be more decisive.

i promise you that this is not the end of the world lmao
