Yeah and most concertgoers would prefer a late show then the show being cancelled after they already stuck around for 3 hours.

 

A better legal remedy would be mandating partial refunds say 10% of the ticket price for each hour the performer was delayed. However , it would also get messy since often there are delays that aren't driven by the artist being disrespectful. Weather, production difficulties, audience members not being properly seated (could cause a crowd crush).        etc

 

But in reality, it mostly takes care of itself in the long run. Artists with reputations for being late have less tour demand and those who do come expect delays and are more prepared to put up with it. We see this playing out on this thread as some users are deciding to not buy tickets due her rep and others putting more thought into how to get home after a late show.

Madonna is a difficult and unmanageable woman, Guy has been telling her to go on stage on time for years to no avail. We have accepted that she’s disrespectful and unprofessional in that regard but things won’t change unless she has to face some kind of consequence. Instead of complaining, people should stop buying tickets to her concerts and do something else. 
 

To people who thinks of buying tickets to her shows, Madonna will be LATE. Plan your program accordingly or don’t go at all if that would affect your life, job, etc. Her fans always take the week or next day off because they know they are in for a sleepless night.

Right? the 2 times i ve attended her current tour,i ve taken my time,had dinner and a few drinks with my friend and we entered at like 9:30pm and she came like 20 min later. some people were in the audience since 6:30pm  Like please,how do you not know this about Madonna when she's been known for YEARS for her late entries..

If you lack comprehension skills, this is not our fault. We all think her lateness is disrespectful and unprofessional. But nothing will change this so people should either stop buying tickets because of her lateness or plan their day accordingly. What's there that is difficult to understand?

As if Madonna never had the biggest tour grossing of all time. She has beaten your favorites for 4 decades. So move on and sit down.

 

It's easier to make records in the expanded and oversaturated touring markets now after covid chaos because everyone comes out and have  delayed fun. And tix pices go through the roof and will keep increasing higher. And they will keep breaking records.

But guess what??

 And your favorites basically copied and pasted what the queen of pop has trailblazed expanded experimented and pioneered already in touring markets for 4 decades around the world.

So keep following her for another decade and be thankful rather than disrespectful yourself.

It's still funny to witness fans from other artists just mock her before even reading the posts. You don't even pay for her. So itll be nice to go back to your madonna wannabe singers fan lands. They just follow and copy what madonna did decades ago. Expanded touring markets and benefiting from  what madonna already trailblazed championed and pioneered. 

Now  trying to diminish what the queen of pop has accomplished.

hum...Madonna just grossed 80M from 20 something arena shows in Europe alone. 

Shows that at most have 14k people watching each one of them, lmao.

 

She's not grossing like them because she's not performing in stadiums. That's all.

Thats what i do, i plan. I dont bother if she is late. She always give a top concert.
